Dog & Cat Laundromat

My five year old Whippet boy goes in about once a month for his nail trimming. When we first began going, my boy was hesitant. Now, after three years he walks right in. Jane greets us at the desk. Karen gives a very nice nail trim — he puts up with it very well. The best part is that he knows that Karen will give him a couple of treats when he is finished with the hard work! It is a pleasure to go there.

Brought my large breed dog for a bath and summer trim. My dog was there ~7 hours, but there was a lot of work to be done. Trim was ok — not necessarily even all over, but she smelled nice and clean. Her ears were nicely trimmed. They seem very nice and my dog seemed to be fine. They had a large crate, so she was able to stand up without having to duck her head.

I was easily able to make an appt. for my cat to be groomed here. They seemed accomodating for any requests. She came back to us brushed, fluffy, soft and nice smelling!
My only concern was that there are cats meowing and dogs barking. I’m sure it’s upsetting for kitty, but not sure what choice we have with these types of services.

I gave taken my GSD to them for years. They do a great job getting rid of all that undercoat especially during shedding season and made her look beautiful every time. They are very nice people and gentle to the animals.

I have a 4 year old, 110 pound long haired Shiloh Shepherd that HATES to be bathed. She’s a good dog, but she turns into Cujo when you add water. She hates her nails trimmed, ears cleaned, anything. She can be very intimidating too as she growls, fights and will even bite (lightly) when you try to bath or other wise «mess» with her. I have had to sedate and muzzle her to be groomed (at another place) and they still couldn’t do a good job. She has an extremely thick undercoat that has to be blown out with a dryer and requires a lot of brushing once or twice a year when she blows her coat.
I took her to Chantall and was seriously amazed when she said she didn’t even have to muzzle her. My beast was putty in her hands. Chantall just has a way with my dog that no one else has been able to obtain. My dog also LOVES her. Her experience has always been positive here and it has helped her fear of grooming. Chantall is patient, kind, and takes great care of her and does a great job. I highly recommend.
Dog and Cat Laundromat has been in business in Alamo for at least 20 (maybe more) years, in the same location. That alone says a lot. I have taken many dogs here over the 20+ years I have lived in Alamo. The owner is awesome, and Chantall and Sharon are the best! Great, great shop. You can trust them with your pups!

They do a good job when they have availability. You should book waaaaaay in advance. Especially in the summer. My dog looked good and didn’t seem traumatized. The prices are high but what do you expect for Alamo?

Called in the morning and they were able to take my two Pom mixes the same day. The price was reasonable and dogs look great. Can’t really ask for more than that.

I’ve been taking my 2 little guys to Chantel for years now — prior ro finding this place… grooming was an awful experiences for my furry animals… I arrived early one day and heard her talking with them… it was really touching. I will only take them to the laudermat and to Chantel. Its been years now. She treats them like I do!!!

Took Zero in again this past weekend. His fur in between his toes, anal glands, and nails were all ready to be taken care of again. He did much better with this visit. Last time he was scared a bit since it was within the first couple of days with his final shots. He was more adapted to other dogs, environment, dryers, kennels, and other dogs.
Over All: Chantal did a great job with him. He loves going and he comes home so pretty! He will definitely be going back.
