My boyfriend and I were looking for a cabin for our valentines weekend that was affordable, had easy access to a lake to fish, pet friendly and had a grill to cook out, Pope’s Landing checked off everything on our list. It was such a cute cabin and was very clean. Our cabin had its own little deck facing the water which provided a great view of the sunset. It felt very safe, quiet and everyone was friendly. We needed to go to the grocery store, there was a Brookshire’s about 15 minutes away, which is considered close if you live in Dallas. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and want to bring our families someday! I highly recommend this place to couples also, especially if you are looking for a quick little get away from the city.
