Twisted Sisters

The old Connie’s Place in Alba, Texas. We went in on Saturday, November 21 for Breakfast. Ordered the Two Eggs with meat breakfast. Simple right? It took over 30 minutes to get breakfast. The café was not busy, and even the table next to us was saying how it took so long to et their breakfast. They had been sitting there for 30 minutes when we arrived.
Breakfast was ok. The biscuits were cold, the home fries were very greasy and the Over Easy eggs came to the table and one was broken. We had to ask for cream two times, We did not get asked if we wanted hot sauce or anything else. Maybe it is because they are new. The ladies are from the old Connie’s know what it takes to run and serve at a café. Maybe it is just growing pains. We may try it again, however it will be awhile.
