Horrible! The give away that this was a chop shop Doc that gets em and in out was the rope. The rope. The rope that you see at a club, a bank or waiting to see a movie. A line rope. Yup… a line to check in with the front. The horrible Doc I saw knew nothing about hashimoto or hypothyroidism. I knew more than him. I begged to be put on Armour. Ok sure. Then they had me get blood work. Ok. Oh you will call me with the results. Um NOOOO THEMEDASSISTANTEMAILEDMEWITH the numbers. Not even the real results. She wrote down the numbers. So ya… I know what a high number means. .but I pretend I don’t. I email her back asking what do they mean??? She says OHYOUJUSTHAVEHASHIMOTO… NOBIGDEAL. I EMAILEDHERBACK… YOUAREJUST A MEDASSISTANT. …NOT A DOCTOR! I will never ever to back to this horrible place. Do not go!

Find another place. Find someone who actually cares. I have seen 3 Doctors here and they are all the same. When you talk to them, it’s like talking to a brick wall. Dr. Leinung can’t even look you in the face when he talks to you. It’s like you are a complete waste of his time and he could care less. He never smiles and treats you as if you’re a scumbag. Doesn’t listen to anything you say, and only cares about the numbers. If your bloodwork comes back normal, he just shrugs his shoulders and implies there is nothing wrong(instead of trying to help you find out WHAT is really causing the symptoms). If your blood test comes back showing an issue, he will tell you that you are not taking your medication properly. Good Grief Charlie Brown. I have been going here for a few years now and I am still no further along. I could handle that if I thought for one second that someone WANTED to help me. . but seems they would rather you just go away. So guess what? I am going away. Today, I begin the search for a new Endocrinologist. Wouldn’t hurt if you smiled once in a while and treated people decently! PS — I will miss the black woman who does the blood work. She is sweet. And I will miss my favorite chair(I always end up in the same chair. . every time. . for 3 years. . when doing blood work — and I do a lot of blood work)

I see Hassan Shawa, M.D. I had an appointment back in March 2013 and the reception girl never checked me in. 2 plus hours of waiting then I finally get in the the doctor pushes me through. Then they tell me another 1 ½ to 2 hour wait for blood-work because they are so far behind. So far I am not impressed.
