After Unilocaling massage in area and seeing the awesome reviews, I called Bears Massage in desperation due to having a difficult week with my chronic back and neck pain and being that my current massage person was out of town. I left a voice mail message at Bears and I sent an email and to my excitement I received a call back from Jessah AND an email stating there was a cancellation and if I would like to take it. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Jessah takes the time to ask you questions on your condition. She is kind and patient and at first I thought she is so sweet how strong can she be? WELL, don’t judge a book by it’s cover is the best way I can put it. SHE IS STRONG and she works every single stitch of knots. I could actually feel my back aligning itself as she was manipulating threw all my issues, and believe me, there are a lot of issues going on with my back/​hips/​neck that I have had most of my adult life. She has just received a new client with me. I LOVED IT and I feel GREAT with just one session. She is extremely gifted. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dustin. He is such a nice person. The two of them are going to go very far and really succeed and I am looking forward to them doing so! Thank you Jessah! Thank you Dustin. You guys are great. So, people, set up your appts NOW. :)

Sparing the details — I travel a ton for work and in return, my back has lots of lovely knots. While in the Albany area, I found Bears Massage on Unilocal with excellent reviews and booked time with Jessah. The booking process was simple and I was able to get on the schedule within reasonable time.
After sharing a little bit about what I was hoping for with my massage and getting comfortable on the heated massage table, Jessah dug right into my trouble spots and obliged to my pressure requests.
Anytime I come to the Capital region, I will definitely be booking time with Jessah and I recommend that you to do the same.

Following my massage yesterday I have to say what a great experience it was from start to finish. I received a Groupon notification about Bears Massage and called to inquire about availability. Jessah picked up almost immediately and told me I could schedule pretty quickly at that point. She also told me I could utilize their introductory rate to simplify things. I chose a time 4 days out that fit my schedule and agreed to a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Jessah.
One day prior we spoke briefly when she gave me a reminder call, again very delightful!
Upon my arrival I was greeted by Jessah in their studio, which was quite comfortable and more relaxing than many I’ve been in. Following the completion of the obligatory form, we chatted briefly about why I was there and what I wanted from the massage. After I explained I could use some deep tissue work, she told me she’d have plenty of time to do both deep tissue where needed and all over therapeutic massage if I wished.
The result was the best massage I’ve ever had!
Jessah has a very gifted touch, able to do the deep tissue work without over doing it, along with the ability to easily handle the therapeutic part, with a wonderful gentle strength. She was able to work all my deep tissue stress points and still make it an enjoyable experience. Not always the case with deep tissue work.
Great massage experience all the way around. Jessah was equal parts professional, personable, super laid back and caring.
I left completely relaxed and knot free.

Great massage, very professional! I did have to schedule almost a month ahead, so keep that in mind if you have a groupon.

Here’s the problem with this place, you can’t get an appointment!
This guy always seems to be on vacation or gone or something. He offers a groupon, but you can’t use it because it expires because of his availability for appointments.
So how’s the massages? Can’t comment. I never could get an appointment. Just waiting on what to do with a less than value groupon.

I feel amazing. Dustin is a congenial fellow who listened to my complaints (about my body and knots) and then went to work with devout concentration and a deeply intuitive touch. He is gifted. I live 30 miles away and have no qualms about making the drive for his positive, untangling treatment and sweet personality. Go here!!! ENJOY!!!

I started going to Dustin because he was located near my office. I am so glad that I found him! I suffer from chronic pain and am in a high stress job. Dustin listened carefully to my needs and is very willing to work with his clients to ensure that the pressure is comfortable. Dustin asks at the beginning of each massage if there are any areas I would like him to concentrate on — he customizes his massage to my needs that day. Dustin is very friendly and very nice. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel welcome and comfortable on your first visit. He is excellent at deep tissue work which is what I get but he can do various types of massages — just ask for the level of pressure you prefer. Dustin offers a very reasonably priced 3 visit package which I purchased. I have gone to Dustin about 4 times so far and I keep coming back because he is terrific to work with and my pain is relieved. Dustin offers a special for $ 45 for the first massage so you really have nothing to lose by giving him a try. After that, he charges just $ 60 for one hour and offers discounts through his multi-​visit packages. Dustin offers very flexible appointment times so I have even gone on my lunch hour — I return to the office rejuvenated and relaxed, ready to take on the rigors of the rest of the day. Dustin’s practice is very easy to get to, on the bus line, and very clean, comfortable, and attractive.

I’ve been going to Dustin for about a year now. He is an excellent massage therapist. He is very friendly and makes his clients very comfortable. His massage technique is exactly what I need to de-​stress. I am glad to have found him and will continue to enjoy his talented hands on a regular basis. His packages are very reasonable and after one massage, you’ll definitely want to come back for more!

I received my first massage today from Dustin at The Bears Massage. I was a bit nervous and did not know what to expect having never had a massage before. To be honest I did not think that it would really relax me all that much. Dustin was great at explaining massage and helping me deterine the best type of massage for me. The room was spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. I was still a bit nervous and tense for about the first three minutes, however Dustin was calming and used the perfect amount of pressure and I before I knew it I felt my shoulders relax and then I was almost in a transe. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I have had in a long time and before I knew it the hour was over. I left feeling more relaxed and with less tesion in my back than I ever remember. I have already booked a second session and will likely not go to anyone else for a massage. I strongly recommend Dustin and The Bears Massage.

Jessah gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had! It took me a few weeks to schedule my appt. (my fault, too busy) but it was well worth the wait! I’ve had numerous massages in the Capital District, but the massage I got with Bears Massage far surpassed any other location. It may not be as fancy as the spas in the area, but the actual massage was the best by far. If you value how you feel afterwards over fancy room decorations and receptionist with accents, then you’ll discover the hidden jem that is Bears Massage.

What a nice surprise — I work very near Bears Massage in a high stress job. I decided to give them a call and see if I could get in for a massage. I enjoyed the massage that was provided by Dustin. It was effective at relieving the stress in my neck, shoulders and back. I have been back to Dustin now four or five times he is very professional and easy to talk to.
I will continue to go to Bears Massage whenever the time allows or the knots get the better of me.
