Bollywood Eyebrow Threading

I dont care that Bollywood is at a mall kiosk. The threading is impeccable and the tinting lasts. No wonder I keep going back!

OUCH!!! I’m new to the area and this was the only eyebrow threading place I could find in the Corvallis/​Albany area, which sucks because I likely won’t be returning. First I called the number listed on their website to see what time they were open, and the guy who answered the phone sounded like I just woke him up and said «hello» instead of saying the business name first like a normal company. Apparently the number listed on the website is a cellphone, which doesn’t seem very professional to me.
So I arrived to find out the location is a small kiosk inside the mall, which isn’t terrible, but I would have preferred a more private space. No biggie though. The guy helping me was the only one working, and I’m assuming he was the guy who answered the phone earlier too. He proceeded to start on my eyebrows, and it was the most painful eyebrow threading experience I’ve ever had! Keep in mind I have been getting my eyebrows threaded about once a month for about a year and a half now. I’ve probably been to about 5 different locations in my hometown, and one in Eugene and the pain does tend to vary (based on the threading artist’s experience I think). However, this was the WORST one yet! He would pull the hairs out soooo slowly, they were almost coming out one-​by-​one and it was excruciating! It was even making one of my legs kick up as a reflex lol! I must have been flinching bad too because he asked if it normally hurts me this bad or if it was just this time, to which I replied, «Yeah, it’s hurt some before, but never this bad. I think it’s because you’re going so slow.» So he took a little break and started again, this time trying to go a little faster which did feel less painful. He also kept asking me to scoot up on the chair, and was trying to blame his lack of skills on the fact that he was so tall I guess. He was obviously new to this, and he’s obviously never had HIS eyebrows threaded before because if he had, he would know what hurts and what doesn’t! Or maybe I was his first client ever, because I feel like he would have gotten some negative feedback from others before as well. He should have at least had someone supervising him if he wasn’t very experienced. When he was finished he gave me a mirror to check to see if I liked the shape, and I told him they looked fine even though I couldn’t even tell because they were SO RED and even bleeding a little bit in a couple places! Mainly I just wanted to get the heck out of there! So I paid $ 15 (which is the most I’ve ever paid for eyebrow threading – and this was the worst experience I’ve had) and went straight home to let my face heal for a couple hours.
Hopefully someone doesn’t come here to get their eyebrows threaded for the very first time and get this guy, because they will never want to get them done EVER again! I will continue to get them threaded, but will unfortunately have to try somewhere in Eugene or Salem instead. The only way I will return to this location is if I happen to be walking by and it looks like someone who knows what they’re doing is working.

I have always wanted to try threading and finally did here in Albany. I was very impressed with the man who did my eyebrows and upper lip. He let me know what to expect for each step and didn’t criticize me for letting my eyebrows get so badly shaped, which seems to happen to me every time I can save money to get any kind of beauty treatment done. He explained how he was going to make sure my eyebrows got shaped correctly. You can get a punch card to earn a free eyebrow threading after so many visits. I will definitely be going back, as it is also very reasonably priced!

A friend recommended this place and I’m glad I tried it! Very nice people and they do a very good job! Now I don’t have to go to Salem just to get my eyebrows done! I will definitely be going back!

Got stopped by them as I passed their stand at the Center Salem mall and was glad I agreed to try them out! My sister was in need of some eyebrow grooming (13 years old) and her eyebrows came out beautiful! I definitely recommend them and I will be going back again.

I use to drive to Salem to get my eyebrows threaded, but then I heard that the same company (Bollywood Eyebrows) was now located in Albany which is where I Live. I went and tried them out and it was fantastic the lady who works there is really nice and did a good job on my eyebrows and the owner is also very nice. They were both very friendly and I also learned a lot more about eyebrow threading. I would recommend when any one goes that they should buy the eyebrow powder, it is very natural looking and also helped yo darken and give my eyebrows a fuller look.

This is my first time getting threading done, and the woman did a great job! It was quick and virtually painless. She was very helpful and listened to what I wanted (I had been wanting to reshape my eyebrows for a long time really friendly and good atmosphere i really recommend this place :)
