Went New Years day for a big family gathering. They were really slow whic b could be why I waitress seemed to only be seeing us. There was so many of us in the banquet room that she brought pitchers of the pop we were drinking so nobody was ever empty, she was always there when we needed something. Banquet room was roomy and the whole place Is clean. Differently will call to book christmas dinner there next year.

Second time eating here and this time the quality seemed to have slid a bit. Everyone’s food was either cold or just lukewarm. The prime rib was okay but cold. Basically, the food is overpriced for the quality. Cascade grill has become an overpriced Applebee’s at best. One shining light, our server Amanda was excellent. Personable and efficient. She sent out hot mashed potatoes and vegetables when we pointed out that ours were cold. Not sure what’s going on with this restaurant but there are other places to drop $ 15 – 20 on an entrée that taste a lot better.

Could use a décor update, but the homemade steak-chili soup, deliciously warm bread and the Greek Chicken made up for the lackluster interior. I wish I could give a good review for the fish and chips and the chicken fettuccine but it was only passable. Our server Amanda was delightful, upbeat and a true gem. It was busy yet she gave great service with genuine enthusiasm!

Everything from the service, and food was wondeful. My waitress was Alesha and she was a sweet heart. Very clean and quite. The food was very exelent.

Fairly austere décor and mood music right out of a 1970’s elevator, so had my initial expectations set low. Threw caution to the wind and went for the Ribeye. Was very pleasantly surprised! Quality breads, nice salad, and very good steak with garlic mash and veggies. Excellent flavor for all. Is a little pricey across the whole menu, but where isn’t these days. By the way, if you fly in, there is aircraft parking on the NE end of the runway with a pedestrian access gate at the SW corner of the hotel. It’s all of a 3 min walk — very convenient. It’s an upscale change of pace from the Chinese place at the other end of the field.

We came in here because it was right off of the main road and was recommended by some locals. We ordered lunch and got a Reuben sandwich and a Prime Dip. The Reuben sandwich had a good amount of sauerkraut, cheese and corned beef. However, the French Dip was the table favorite. The dip was flavorful and delicious! The sandwich had a good amount of prime rob in a delightful French Roll. The service was friendly and attentive. The pricing was reasonable and affordable for a lunch out. We also came with a large group and they were able to seat us in no time and were very accommodating. The Reuben was $ 11.50 and the Prime Dip was $ 11.99. I would absolutely recommend the Cascade Grill for a lunch out with the family.

I was staying in the area for work and stopped here for dinner with a large group. They got us seated quickly and the staff was great. The menu is good sized with a nice variety of items to choose from. They also had some very good drink choices. The food came out quickly and they were generous portions. I had the country fried steak and it was tasty. Overall, while it wasn’t spectacular it was definitely good and I would stop here again.

We decided to venture to Albany to eat here because of Unilocal reviews. The interior is clean and well setup. They weren’t busy hardly at all. Overall we were impressed on walking in with the atmosphere. We were seated promptly and she took our drink order and handed us menus. We were looking over them when our server brought us our drinks and chatted with us a bit. We ordered nachos to all share as an appetizer. She kept our drinks full as we munched on nachos and then our burgers came. They were seriously so good. I don’t usually order burgers out to eat but we all ordered one. I had avocado on mine. They didn’t. Overall great experience. Good food. Prompt service and attentive wait staff. We will return I’m sure!

Stopped in Albany on our way to Seattle today. Randomly got the hotel next door to this eatery. Walked over and had a great dinner. Meatloaf was good. Portions just the right size in our over portioned restaurants theses days like a Black Bear Diner for example. Our server Bry was charming and professional. Even full we had the chocolate lava cake and ice cream with coffee. Great finish to the meal! Interior nicely done, clean and nice atmosphere. If in the area, we would come back!

Clean and classy environment and very convenient when staying in one of the hotels next door. Service by Sunny was lovely, very attentive and friendly. The menu seems upscale with a wide variety. But a steak house should know how to cook meat. I ordered the prime rib rare and received a solid medium. As a rule I don’t send back food so I endured a brown, tough piece of meat. Shame on you cooks for being so careless in such a presentable establishment and being responsible for a disappointing experience. Like I said, Sunny is awesome and righted the situation as best she could with a glass of wine on the house. Props to the FOH for picking up the kitchen slack.

New review on this place. It has gotten better in my experience with dealing with Mike the bartender in the lounge. He is very respectful and it seems like she does appreciate having a job. I’m sure he does well with the good attitude that he does now :-) I have been in enough times now that I do think they fired the yuck mouth that was in there.

I am reviewing for my experience in the bar only. Cascade Grill is probably one of the better things going for Albany-restaurant wise. With this smaller establishment they take time to ensure that their food products are local, when available, and served deliciously! Friendly service(Paul in bar), with a flair for sports fans! And boy am I a sports fan!!!

Only go at lunch if time is not a concern! An hour and a half from point of being seated to receiving my lunch. Cascade Grill is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and is staffed by friendly people. The food that I’ve had is ok and the prices are higher than I would expect for the quality. Portion size ranges from small to average. I did not like the chicken Alfredo pasta; it has a «fishy» taste to it. It’s ok for business meals, but I wouldn’t stop here otherwise.

Had a good Philly cheesesteak omelet here today when we met friends for lunch. This is a good restaurant, convenient to I-5 Northbound, definitely your best bet for a good sit-down meal between Eugene and Salem. An older crowd for lunch on a Sunday, fighting over the handicap spots. Off-putting Muzak when you walk in, but don’t worry, it’s subdued back in the dining area. Service is a little on the slow and inattentive side, but nothing to bring out the hater in me. Prices are reasonable for a nice, clean place. For example, a burger and fries goes for less than ten bucks. My omelet was good. Fresh ingredients, cooked right, seasoned well. A nice portion of good crispy home fries on the side. Not greasy, not at all, and a generous portion of wheat toast to boot. Six others in our party, everyone’s meals arrived together without any issues. Big portions all around. I recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again.

I have no idea who paid the woman to write the review below which led me into the Cascade grill believing it may be good. I will start in reverse order with the meal. The dessert was something bland right out of sysco or FSA’s freezer wrapper package. The portion was tiny. Want to charge $ 6-$ 8 for a slice of cake? Try making it in house and having it actually be delicious and an appropriate portion. Dinner: A $ 12.00BLT with bad tomato. Easy to forget. Appetizer: $ 10 for 4 shrimp. Should have been 6. This place only is busy due to the hotel there and lack of other dining on this side of freeway. Never will return. Total waste of money.

Ok — so the good thing is it isn’t bad. The bad thin is that it wasn’t a knock your sock off kind of place. I ordered the BLT. For $ 11.00 you get an extremely flat toasted bread, «a» lettuce leaf, bacon from breakfast, and a couple tomato slices. To be honest, I was expecting more even though it is a BLT. I could have made it on the heat rung in my hotel room. The plus side is that the service was excellent and the waitress I had was very attentive and courteous.

In town for business and after a seven hour drive I just wanted seething close to the hotel and nice. Well, it’s close to the hotel. I ordered the Cascade Chicken, vegetable soup and Rice Pilaff. The soup literally was at my table within a minute of completing my order. Hot and tomatoey, very decent cup of soup to start the meal. However, that’s where the high point was. The chicken was delivered at a decent pace although they should have left it under the warmer for a couple more minutes. The cheese was only half melted and the rice was undercooked and cold. On the brighter side the chicken was grilled with skill and the staff are friendly. If you’re looking for something pricey with a great view of the video lottery arcade then this is your place!

Drove down for a Sunday lunch. The place shares a parking lot with a couple of ‘suite’ hotels. Exterior is attractive and the interior is clean and tasteful. The median age of diners was about 70(again, Sunday lunch), but there were a couple of young families, and it seems friendly for all ages. The menu is varied with burgers, sandwiches, and comfort food — as well as beef, chicken, and seafood. I had a prime rib dip sandwich with an included side of prime rib chili. Portions were adequate, if not ample. The prime rib was moist, flavorful, and not overcooked, The ‘dip’ was delicate and certainly not the over-salted brown juice often associated with a ‘dip’ sandwich. The chili was aromatic, well seasoned, and came topped with sour cream and grated cheddar. Nice! Bonus: my iced tea was ‘real’ — I’m sure it was brewed on-site and it was a good accompaniment. Service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the large windows in the main dining area that gave good light. Overall, high marks for a casual restaurant.

Thanks to Chucks B’s review, we gave Cascade Grill a try. The man-folk and I had the coconut prawns as an appetizer(delish!) and I had the soup of the day ~ gumbo. It was slightly spicy and perfect. The Hubs had a garden salad and he was pleased. Our entrees(I had the chicken alfredo) wasn’t so wonderful. Bland with small pieces of chicken. Even after dousing it with salt and pepper it still wasn’t good enough to bring home in a doggy bag. The service was great and the restaurant was nice enough. We will be back but I think we’ll stick to the apps and soup.
