Ciddici’s Pizza

Ordered a pizza last night it was over baked and dry and the toppings were practically non-existent!That was not in any way a 25.00 pizza. A frozen pizza would have had more flavor and toppings. Very disappointing and a waste of money… will not be ordering pizza from here again!

The pizza was good but I was not happy about how the management was chastising the staff right in front of the customers about how they do not keep busy enough. Not sure if I will be back.

Pizza tasted good, but the place on 5^th Avenue was run down and dirty. Makes me concerned about what may be found in the kitchen area.

Pizza was decently priced for the personal size, although it was overcooked. The crust was burnt on the bottom and there was an absolute overload of cheese which caused the pizza to have grease puddles on top. Overall this pizza seems like a copycat of some more well known pizza parlor scrim the Salem area. I might try this again because I know people who enjoy it, but there is much room for improvement.

Gluten free pizza was great… Love the Crispy crust. Only problem (big problem) is that the Gluten Free only comes in a size small. Our family had to incur the additional fee for GF and also had to purchase 4 small pizzas to feed our family. It was a whopper of a bill. Probably won’t eat here again, unless I don’t bring the kids. Donatello’s pizza in South Salem is worth the extra drive to get a Large GF for $ 17.99… feeds the whole family… Vs. $ 55.00 at Ciddici’s!

Was in the mood for some chicken so called in an order. Service was quick and chicken looked good. Unfortunately the chicken was way overcooked and I am fairly certain this was intentional to cover up the outdated chicken. Meat was incredibly sour and 1 bite was plenty. You can’t cook out rotten. Will not return.

I drive almost an hour to eat here. I love the crust. Service has gone down hill in the last few years. Also they need a cleaning day and a paint job, but the pizza is my favorite.

I found the pizza terribly bland. In fact, the taste reminded me of card board with skimpy toppings. (Not that I have ever eaten card board, at least to my knowledge.) Did not enjoy at all. Bummer since I live in close proximity to the downtown location. Oh well, I have no problem driving to Izzy’s which has awesome pizza and it’s all you can eat!

Best pizza in town. You will pay a little more for it but it has the quality and the flavor. I like to get the carnivores delight and substitute in some linguisa sausage for the ground beef and a side of jojos. That’s what I’m talking about.

The pizza was good but a little greasy and it came on a paper plate, which seemed a little careless as my husbands came later on a regular plate. The service is subpar. We were not greeted or really acknowledged until one employee asked another to «take care» of us. Had to repeat our order a few times before they got it correct in the register. They didn’t seem that interested in making a repeat customer.

Came here after a friend recommended we give them a try. I have to admit I was a little bit hesitant after I read some of the negative reviews but I am glad we gave Ciddicis a try. The service could not have been better and our Pizza was on point.
I think these guys have really taken to heart all the feedback from Unilocalers and made some changes because we enjoyed every bit of our Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza the crust was done perfectly definitely one of the better pizza places we have tried.

Pizza is served hot and delicious everytime.
We love the Jo Jos… also my wife gets the gluten free pizza … it’s really good you wouldn’t ever know it is gluten free. Prices are also reasonable… If your in Albany this is the best pizza in town, A must try.

Service was prompt, and the gals behind the counter were super sweet and gave me some recommendations. I had a cheeseburger and jojos. The burger was barely cooked, slightly pink in the middle and was severely lacking on the seasoning. The jojos weren’t crispy, they were soggy and greasy. I wouldn’t be surprised if the burger i just spent $ 6 on was nothing more than a frozen patty they slapped on the grill. I may give them another shot in the future but for now I will save my money and go elsewhere.

Have been a long time customer of their pizza, and a big fan. But the last year their pizza has been going downhill, the taste and customer service also. The last time there was mixup on our order which we had picked up, no biggie but when I bought it back the manager was rude

Terrible pizza. I had eaten here 3 or 4 times and on my way to being a regular, so I was surprised when my Canadian bacon was grey and my crust was burnt. When I called about it, a manager yelled all kinds of sexist remarks, called me stupid, and other things I won’t repeat, and offered tons of excuses. He even blamed me saying «I left it outside in the sun? «I mean come on really? I wasn’t even asking for a new one. I don’t want to eat at a place that serves spoiled ingredients, not even for free, or a place that sends out burnt pizza or treats customers in such a horrific manner. NEVER going back.

Used to really enjoy eating here. Lately the food and service has gone down hill. I ate there tonight, got chicken and jojos. First off the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way thru. 2^nd they are way over priced and the service has improved since my last visit. Because it was good service I give a 2 stars otherwise would have been one

This is unlike any pizza I’ve ever had, which in this case, is not a good thing.
The crust was thin — and not thin like a quality New York pizza. It was just… sparse, lacking in taste and texture. The sauce was OK, at best, but the cheese seemed to have a weird taste and texture. (Was it even real?) I also didn’t care for their toppings. I had some with pepperoni, which was spicy — which I like — but it didn’t taste like real pepperoni. My half had fresh tomatoes, yet the tomatoes appeared to have simply been tossed on the pizza after it had been baked. This was true with all of the other pizzas that had fresh tomatoes.
The locals all seem to love it (and they pronounce it «city cheese», which I think is adorable). For all of the reasons I mentioned, plus the high price for, it just seemed to fall way short for me. Next time I’m in town, I’ll look for a better (or at least a «NY») pizza joint. I really don’t need to ever go back.

Okay I love my pizza and ciddicis never disappoints! They have two locations that help when you wanna have a big party because both locations have party rooms. The original down town location is in the old bus sub station and is a really cool building. But both locations have the same yummy thiner at style beer crust. The basic pepperoni is simply the best in town

Interesting building — the old ‘Electric Railway’ depot. Fun, but there is no air conditioning, so beware of hot summer days.
The pizza is good, but has strong and weak points. I liked the crust and sauce, the cheese had an odd texture (all real?), and the toppings were a bit sparse. A little pricy for pizza of this quality.
Overall, it was fun and the pizza was OK.

Some of the best pizza in the area! Great choices on pizzas and add Garlic for free on any pizza! Great place to grab a beer, enjoy some pizza, and hang out with friends and family.
