Fantastic box! I visited as an out of town guest, and was welcomed without hesitation. CrossFit Beyond has an obvious community established and great culture throughout the box. I recommend this box to anyone local or visiting. Excellent coaching and great atmosphere.

I am re-posting this review because for some strange reason, Unilocal decided to put it into a filtered category, this is a little strange as none of my other reviews on Unilocal have ever been filtered. But, I love this business and I think others should know about it. I joined Crossfit purely because I was traveling to Florida and wanted to get fit asap, I had about one month. I planned on quitting after my trip and going back to my regular $ 20/month gym(which I RARELY went to). My first class, I was absolutely pathetic. I couldn’t do a squat despite trying about 10 times, I had no idea what deadlifts or any of the exercises were. But, I stuck to it 1. because crossfit tends to be pricey and I paid for a month, although this center is much more affordable than other Crossfits and 2. again, getting fit before my trip. I only went twice a week, and I didn’t want to change my diet, so I really didn’t expect to see major results. But, I was wrong. It is amazing. Just in about 4 weeks, I developed definition in my arms(I finally know what a triceps muscle feels like), my stomach was much flatter and my gluteus muscles developed. I can’t believe how much my body changed in just 4 weeks. More importantly, I initially joined purely for weight loss/appearance reasons, but now, I want to get stronger and be able to do the tough exercises. I went to my class today and after a month, I can finally do a half decent squat. So, for me, that’s an accomplishment. I am pretty much always the last one to finish because I am not very athletic, but the atmosphere is great. The people in the class are extremely friendly and encouraging. And, the coaches are really nice and helpful. They want to see you get better but don’t push you to a point where you may get hurt. So, I am going to stick with this for awhile and try to go 3 days a week. When I was initially googling crossfit, I read success stories of many people who do this and do the zone or paleo diet. I don’t think I can ever do those diets. I try to eat healthy most of the time but I don’t think I can EVER give up carbs and brownie fudge sundaes. I eat carbs almost on a daily basis! And seeing that I got results in 4 weeks with crossfitting just 2 days a week, without those diets, I’m sure I’ll get to my goal going 3 times a week. My husband is shocked that I consistently go, as am I since I rarely stick to workouts. But, I’m addicted to the results and I want to climb a rope or pull myself up on those gymnastic rings!
