The kind people at Erica’s took pity on me and hemmed a bridesmaid dress same-​day. They didn’t even make me feel bad for waiting until the last minute. Great job, fair price, and friendly service! Thank you!

They hemmed and added a bustle to my wedding dress. It was perfect, it looked like the designer did it. They also were very quick and have a nice shop.

I refuse to go anywhere else to have my shirts and suits tailored. They do consistent quality work and always have things ready on time. Prices are also very reasonable.

I used Erica’s tailoring to have a dress shirt altered for my boyfriend. He wasn’t able to go in to get measured, so I simply brought one of his other fitted shirts. They did an amazing job! I had the waist and the arms taken in. The lines were so clean you could not tell any work was done! very professional and friendly staff. It took one week to be completed. It cost $ 24, but that was very reasonable considering the amount of work they did. Very satisfied and would recommend this tailoring service to anyone.

I ordered my wedding dress online from David’s Bridal and when it came in the back did not zip up, and it definitely needed to be let out a few inches. I only had about three weeks until my wedding and I was freaking out so I called around a few places to get an idea of how possible this was to fix it in this time frame.
Erica asked me to bring it by that day and when I got there and tried it on and she said she could have it ready in two weeks. I was elated! Though I was skeptical because I didn’t have experience with having dresses altered.
I came to the store two weeks later and tried on the dress and it fit PERFECTLY! I couldn’t tell at all that it had been altered and it looked amazing. I was so grateful that she was able to help me out in such a short time frame and so was my family.
The alterations cost me $ 80 which I thought was a very fair price. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a seamstress especially if you’re in a bind!

Buying jeans when you power lift is a pain in the butt, more so than doing a gazillion repetitions of heavy squats. By some miracle I found A pair, one, of jeans that fit the way jeans should fit a lady of my age. However, I’m apparently supposed to have a 36″ inseam. So off to Erica’s I went on the recommendation of my sister (who had several bridesmaid dresses tailored there).
For $ 14 (Cash Only) they did a good job with a quick turn around of 2 days (they were a little late with the pick up time, but, at least I wasn’t in a rush).
I use to go to the dry cleaner in the same space, Stena, but stopped because I hate the location of the building on Albany-​Shaker Road which is a nightmare during rush hours.
All-​in-​all I would use Erica’s for tailoring again

I was on a mission to find new curtains for my bedrooms. I wanted something pretty and my fiancé wanted thermal energy saving curtains. The only ones I found that met both our desires were only available in 84″ length and I needed 63″. Brought them to Erica’s and asked if they could take them up to 63″. One week later I picked up my now perfect curtains and I could not be happier.

I brought a coat in to ask about the cost to replace the lining (it was my mom’s coat). The man (who I believe owns the business with his wife) told me that he didn’t know if he would be able to find the correct lining to do the alterations. I left the coat and my mother’s phone number with the understanding that he would call my mom if he was able to find the lining, and not to do anything to the coat (including dry clean it) until he quoted her a price.
2 weeks later (I dropped 2 bags off to be shipped off and cleaned at the time I dropped the coat off) I called on a Friday and was told that I would be called back. I was never called back. The following Monday I called and was told the coat was done and it was $ 130 for the alterations. I was shocked. That was more than my mom paid for the coat. I was told that the man would call me back regarding this issue. I was never called back.
The following day I went to the store. The man was there. I asked him why he went ahead with the alteration without ever letting my mom (or myself) know the price). He told me that he would call my mom and «work something out». In addition, my two bags had been sitting there for 2 weeks (the time he told me it would take for them to be sent out and cleaned) — the cleaner did not do that type of bag. Why he didn’t call to tell me this was the case and to come pick them up is beyond me.
Today (yesterday is when I stopped by) I talked to my mom. She picked up her coat and paid $ 130. The nicest thing that he did was let her use her credit card to pay for it when the cashier insisted on cash or check and she had neither on her.
I cannot believe that someone would go through with an expensive alteration (or any alteration for that matter) without consulting a client. I tried to reach him via the phone but he is at home today. What’s done is done but I would not recommend this tailor/​dry cleaner for even a simple dry cleaning/​alteration after this experience.

Erica’s is now combined with Stena Dry Cleaning, run by the same people. I like having all of my specialty clothing care needs in one place and it’s right on my home from work.
I brought a blazer in for dry cleaning and it was ready two days later, far sooner than nearly any other dry cleaner I’ve been to in the area. It cost me $ 7, which seemed about average — actually, that’s a little cheaper than some places. I like the Albanian man who runs this place too.
