We hired Five Star Moving for a move from New Jersey to Albany in June, 2015. Nick and his crew were amazing! It was a very long, hot 13 hour day and they never stopped working for a minute. They were respectful, courteous and most importantly careful with our belongings.
We had way more things then should have fit in the truck and they some how managed to get it in the truck and then again in the storage facility. The communication was great and the pricing more then fair for the level of service
We will most definitely be using them again when we move out of storage. Please do not believe the review from March, 2015 as it was obviously not written about the same company. I am an extremely picky, detail orientated person and I can tell you there is no way the same company did this job.
I highly recommend Five Star Moving. Thank you guys for making our move worry free.

We used 5-​Star moving through
(through the PODS page). It was a complete nightmare. The movers were NOT professional movers at all and I literally had college buddies who could’ve done a better job packing the POD. For the packing, they broke a bed, broke a table, put a hole into the wall of the house I was selling and then was nice enough to offer me a «$ 60 discount» for the damages they did. BTW, that $ 60 check that they promised never came. Then there is the packing itself. Pictures are worth a thousand words so you can see it yourself.
Today, I finally unpacked the POD that packed for me. First, it took 30 min just to get the door open because it was so poorly packed. When it was finally open, we found another chest that is damaged because they decided it was a good idea to throw the lawn mower on top of it. The wheel on the mini AC unit also broke off because of the stuff that stacked on top of it. We are not done with unpacking it yet, but our bookshelf appears to be damaged in the back of the pod as well.
These guys are by far the worst mistake I’ve ever made in the history of moving. They don’t know what they are doing, and are dishonest (Still waiting for my joke of a $ 60) Don’t use these guys. You can literally pull a couple of guys out of a college bar and do better (no offense to the college guys at the bar).
