Great food for vegetarians and carnivores alike! We had the portabella sandwich and steak sandwich – yum! Lots of fresh, local ingredients. Friendly staff and fun to browse the antiques. Excited to return to show friends and family this hidden gem!

We had such a lovely experience at Franklin Grove! They were able to accommodate our fairly large party on Mother’s Day with a reservation made just a few days in advance, and although they were busy, we had wonderful service and the food was absolutely delicious. The place is very small, and filled with antiques, which made the dining room uniquely charming and cozy. The feeling of being taken back to a simpler time ended with the delivery of our food… in the best possible way. The dishes weren’t overly fussy — they were sophisticated and well executed. Every one of us was happy with what we ordered, and it’s clear that the folks that own this place take great pride in what they put on the table. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to have an excellent meal in a charming setting.

Quirky little place in the middle of nowhere. This café/antique shop has surprisingly effective combo of country charm and sophistication. The menu is quite extensive considering the size of the place, with something for everyone. The sandwiches are served with a choice of two sides from an imaginative selection. I had my burger with a potato pancake and broccoli salad! Good selection of local beers and wines, too. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Very good food at reasonable prices. The proprietor stopped and chatted with us about local history, the building’s renovation, and was very friendly.
