Isabel’s Circle of Beauty

I visited Isabel’s Circle of Beauty while on vacation in NY. I had been suffering from adult acne and none of the expensive products purchased helped. My facial condition had become very frustrating and embarrassing and I needed a solution. Isabel came highly recommended. I live in California and had been to multiple esthetician, but none were able to produce the lasting results received from my treatment with Isabel. I am still enjoying the results from treatment and recommendation of products that work!!!

Friendly yet professional. True artists to their trade. My visit was by far more the most pleasant one I’ve ever had at a spa. Isabel’s is my new spa for haircut, manicure, pedicure and facials here in Albany. Thank you to the staff of Isabel’s for setting the awesome mood to the rest of my day and week. :)

Finding a new esthetician is just as hard or harder than finding a new hair stylist. How do you know who to trust? Against what standards did other reviewers measure their estheticians?
It didn’t make sense to me then, but I actually chose Isabel’s Circle of Beauty based on the primitive look of her website. And only today did I notice that they finally corrected the spelling of Isabel’s name that shows up at the top of the internet browser (formerly «Isable»).
I wanted an esthetician who cared more about her services than her website. Somehow, the humble website told me: «I don’t need to convince you that I’m awesome, because I’m that awesome.» And how can this woman be in business for 30 years and be bad at what she does?
It turns out she’s pretty great. She carries and uses Dermalogica products (THE BEST!). The room was dark, relaxing and the music was okay. But the overall experience was pretty great. She explained pretty much everything she did, every product she used, and gave me overall tips for taking care of my skin. She recommended some products, but made sure not to put the pressure on. She actually said, «You can buy it here, or somewhere else. Whatever you want.»
So how’s my skin? Well, my goal was for generally healthier and clearer-​looking skin, and I got it! The best part is the advice she gave me of how I can keep blackheads away. Good, good stuff.
So I definitely recommend Isabel if you’re looking for someone with experience and knowledge.
