«No Frills» doesn’t begin to describe how minimalist this Jamaican eatery is. When you take a seat your food will come in a small square styrofoam container with a plastic fork of the smallest/cheapest variety wrapped in a piece of a cut-rate paper towel. I kid you not. The prices are fair. The quality of the food is fine, with a SUPER Oxtail to be had and unusually tasty Curried Goat. Many of the most interesting items are available for breakfast ONLY e.g. «Liver & Bananas» or «Calaloo» There is ubiquitous Rice and Beans and cabbage, but the beans weren’t the traditional Caribbean pigeon peas, but perhaps small kidney beans or red beans. At Noon — some other dishes were unavailable. I was disappointed to learn that the seafood dishes are only available on Fridays !

WOW! This is low brow Jamaican food worth eating. Do not come here for the décor, comfort, service or cleanliness. This is a down home Caribbean hot table counter with some modest tables and chairs. What they are is CHEAP and good for street food; inside. I like this place. And that scares me!
