Luke’s Pizzeria

It’s called Luke’s Pizza but when we visited we were greeted by an extraordinary display of different fried chicken dishes. We ordered an 8 piece chicken tenders (the smallest size) two honey biscuits and a large Mac and cheese. The chicken was really good. The breading very flavorful and filled with spices. The biscuits were awesome, very flaky.
We were given 6 or so sauces however they were all underwhelming. The person who waited on us wasn’t able to answer the basics: like what does the original sauce taste like and what’s good here. The Mac was also underwhelming. But like I said before very impressed with the chicken and biscuits.
This place obviously caters to the college crowd but what a nice addition for that crowd because overall it was a good meal and it was a great value.

Service was great, pizza was great, wings were REALLY great. We happened upon this place by accident. It seemed a little strange that it’s a pizza shop, chicken shack and convenience store, but somehow it works (you can buy lottery tickets here, too). They have every drink ever created on a long, long wall of coolers. We ordered wings and pizza and both were made fresh (wings took about 12 minutes, pizza came out when we finished the wings). The wings were truly the best I’ve had in a long time: perfectly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, not too spicy (we ordered it that way) and not too drippy. The blue cheese, celery and carrots accompanying were all fresh. We ordered a Sicilian pizza with sausage. It’s not as thick as one might expect from Sicilian, but it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and even though it’s a take-​out order-​at-​the-​counter kind of place, the owner came over to us to make sure we were happy with everything. And we were! And we’ll be back!

Awful, awful, awful service that is not worth dealing with for the mediocre food. Ordered here a few days ago, and when I was notified that the food was ready to be picked up, I left about five minutes later to get it. Had to wait a good five minutes to be helped at the counter, and then was shocked how the guy had a dumbfounded look on his face about my order. Instead of clearly stating that they forgot about it, he literally left me standing at the counter for 30 minutes, with no explanation. It was clear that my order was lost, but he neglected to tell me this. It was a very frustrating experience, and I will not be back. The food was not anything to speak of, and it was definitely not worth the poor customer service.
