I am not a frequent visitor to McDoanld’s. While I am not the sort of person who would say, discount a potential mate because they enjoy McDonald’s, I also embrace the typical yuppy tendencies that drive me off the highway to independent establishments when I travel. I will say that when I do visit McDonald’s it is because I am looking for something quick, and something familiar or consistent. This McDonalds locations does a wonderful job maintaining consistency. I know, when I arrive at the drive through of this location, I will not be greeted immediately by anyone. I know, consistently, that between one and three parts of my order will be incorrect, and that the food will take a shockingly long time. Like, I should have gone to a sit-down restaurant type wait times. This location became a family joke when we went and waited in a long line at it on St. Patricks Day for the Shamrock shake we had promised my stepson, only to find they were, inexplicably, not serving Shamrock shakes there. We do enjoy the laugh we get from the inefficiency and disorder we always seem to encounter. On my most recent visit, the person at the window spent a long time trying to find our receipt(something we really didn’t care about), while he was doing that, another worker walked up to the window, knocking over a large glass of ice. She looked at us, picked up the glass, neglected to clean up the ice, shrugged and walked away. When we got our meals, my husband’s was wrong, and mine was missing my coffee. We spent some time knocking and flailing before we got the workers’ attention, and they seemed unfazed by the multiple mistakes. They gave us a generally correct version of our order, and we had now waited long enough that we didn’t want to correct the few small issues that remained, so we drove off. So this location does get a star for consistency. I know what I am getting when I come to the Pearl Street McDonalds.

ENTERATYOUROWNRISK! There was ONE person ahead of me… ONE! Took them 15 minutes to get to me. Ok, ok fine. Then I place my order and ask what is on a McChicken? She looks at me like I asked for the password to Fort Knox and goes… «McChicken». Ok, ok fine. Then I wait another 15 entire painstaking minutes for my 2 burgers and 1 McChicken.(Must’ve had to find and slaughter the cow for me) Ok, ok fine. Then I see some guy peek out from the kitchen with his hood up wearing beats by Dre headphones and it felt like he sucked my soul out just by the stare I received. Then some guy walked out from behind the counter and says he going to get Motrin since he didn’t feel well. Literally announced it to the room… This makes me excited to eat the food he probably just contaminated. You would think he could wash up in the bathroom using anti bacterial soap but the sink is broken… That’s right, the sink to wash your hands after taking a shit is broken. Which means either every employee doesn’t use the bathroom throughout their shifts, ever, or all of our food has bacteria in it. You deicide. I threw the food when I got to my place.

This McDonalds location deserves 0 Stars! Walked in here before we had to head out for our trip back to Virginia. The worst service. My husband was gonna order some breakfast items and coffee. I went to use the bathroom there was a sign for assistance to ask a cashier. Went back around told her I wanted to use the bathroom and wash my hands. Worst reply ever and she was a very rude and indecent human being. She buzzed me in after speaking all ghetto and me not understanding the English spoken… Went in to find no sink to use, Out of Order!!! That’s scary not slightly a lot scary. How are employees then not washing their hands before handling food. Place screamed bacteria and Grossness told me husband this establishment is definitely not sanitary and we left. Seriously Albany get your shit together

I have gotten better service from a brick that has been obliterated by a sledgehammer!!! I sat in the drive-thru for 25 minutes waiting for my order. If I wanted to spend that much time at your ratchet McDonald’s I would have sat inside and listened to everyone in Albany’s problems. The management needs to pull it together. Absolute soup sandwich operations.

Can’t say anything negative about this place, but then again I only order a couple things off the dollar menu every time I’m here. Nothing complicated. I’ve always had my order completed in 4 – 5 minutes. Food is hot and never got my order wrong. Management seems to have changed the past few months because the employees are actually pretending to be nice. Upper management must have cracked the whip. Much more pleasant experience now. I never eat over there because I only come here when I’m in the area due to Greyhound. The layover is generally between 30 – 45 minutes, so this is a good and fast option. The times I usually go here is around 11:15am, 1pm, 1:45 pm, and one time at 3am. I don’t recommend walking over to this establishment from the Greyhound Station during those late night hours.

Worst visit ever. Ordered a simple breakfast and 26 mins later I finely got it after asking how much longer. The person that took my order said they had forgotten about it. Then when given my order it was cold. When I talked to the person on the complaint hotline not even then did I hear I am sorry and then the owner sent me a card for a free sandwich and my order was $ 20.00. never again

Two stars because it’s damn convenient for those of us that just sat on a bus from NYC for 2.5 hours and still have an hour to go until Saratoga Springs at 9:30 p.m. Also, the bathrooms were clean and my cashier obviously flirted with me. Nothing like an ego boost! Otherwise, holy SHIT. It should not take 15 minutes to get an order of small fries and a caramel sundae. They’re lucky I didn’t miss my bus! Imagine… being stuck that that McDonald’s…waiting for another bus… watching a homeless guy screaming for ketchup packets… Like I said, convenient if you’re dying of hunger after a long bus ride!

Impeccably authentic cuisines, vociferously divine flavourful feasts. So splendid, one needn’t a plate to furthermore satiate their palates. This, without question, is the banquet of the gods. Why, I believe their deep-seared potaté piece are imported via first-class cruise ships with the utmost quality from France itself and hand-molded by world-renowned master sous chefs. Grandeur. …Now currently hiring potentially-escaped convicts. But ex-cons and all-around low-lives are always welcome additions. Not only do they mess up your order, they also take offense when you ask for no cheese. I’m Indubitably taking my baby-mama there. Come for the Wi-Fi and choose your cancer.

Really horrible service and never gets the order correct. My husband and I refuse to go to this location even though it’s walking distance from where we live and opt to go to the East Greenbush location instead.

Flop it all together, then complain when it comes time to refill your cup of sweet tea; is that all McDonald’s ever thinks about, is the service I got when I came here today. The worst thing: the drive-in has the same mentality as the rest of the place, plus, they seem to never know anything about the ingredients in new items or nutritional fact info. Oh yeah, the location didn’t have an adequate supply of dessert items available either, to serve our whole party of 6 people. Pass this place up!
