I wish I could give this a 3.5. Garden pottery is expensive. Being relatively poor, I really couldn’t afford to spend $ 100+ on a few pots to brighten up my yard. I happened upon this place(noticing the sale sign on Gilman), and found myself in a strangely laid out shop. But they have nice stuff, probably not very unique(mostly made in China), but nice. I bought two pots that I really like, however, I dislike that there aren’t prices on the merchandise. It makes it impossible to decide what you can and can’t afford and thus, what you should and shouldn’t pick up. In the end, they have one price if you buy one, another if you buy two, etc etc. On the plus side, they also are willing to bargain. Also, my friend bought a really really cute owl carved out of a rock. I’d go back. I hate bargaining, and I hate that there’s no prices, but I think their prices are reasonable, so there you have it.

This pottery place is adjacent to but not affiliated w/Westbrae Nursery. The stock is large and the people are friendly. I went there this afternoon to look for a pot for my cymbidium. When I asked the price of the first one in which I expressed interest the woman said, «That one has a hairline crack. You don’t want it.» When I asked the price of the next one that caught my eye(none of the prices are marked) she responded, «It’s $ 19, but I’ll give it to you for $ 15.». It was a good sized pot and that seemed like a reasonable price, so I bought it.

Smallish pottery shop but there’s a large selection for it’s size. There always seems to be a sale or something going on, and the owners are willing to negotiate, at least on the pot I bought they were…
