I’ve ordered from this Pizza Hut a few times. It’s something I would get that’s cheap & convenient in distance. However it isn’t too appealing in taste, like cardboard. I’ve had better store bought pizza unfortunately.

Stopped in at lunchtime, on a Thursday, and there was only one other patron in the joint. I placed an order for breadsticks to go and was told it would be 10 minutes. That seemed like a long time to wait for a staple item on their menu and for a storefront that advertises slices to go right on the main sign at the plaza. OK, I was committed so I waited and was rewarded with a slab of bread that was not cut into five bread sticks, marinara sauce that was not hot and a soda dispenser that was out of cherry cola. Totally underwhelmed and will not be returning. Most other reviewers, of this place, have had the same experience.

This location may be one of the better and more updated Pizza Huts in the Albany area. Located in University Plaza near SUNY Albany, this casual and no frills pizza place is clean and well lighted. The space is small but has multiple booths, tables, and 2 person hightops. Keep in mind that this is not a full service sit down Hut but an order up front, sit down or carry out one. But that’s what I like about it, none of that red and and white checkered tablecloth, none of that old and squeaky booth, and none of that dim lighting that doesn’t allow you to see your pizza toppings. Here the staff are friendly and efficient. The slice bar is where you can grab just a single slice and a side or a drink to go for under a few bucks. You can even mix and match slices to create your own pizza pie. Like other Huts you can flavor up your pizza crust for free, my favorite being pan style(more butter and crisp) and with a garlic butter crust. Don’t forget about the free sauce drizzle too… honey sriracha, balsamic glaze, buffalo, or barbecue. So far, I like this Pizza Hut location the best in this area.

This from my last(and possibly worst) visit here. I first came here when they reopened and was impressed by the staff, décor, and food. Unfortunately this has steadily gone down hill. The décor is still nice, booths are comfortable for short term, place is clean. A couple of other nice things is that there are local businesses near by, parking lot is relatively easy to navigate and there is traffic light if you need to go towards Albany. Relatively speaking, staff was pleasant and helpful. Now onto the negatives. While staff is pleasant, they are not overtly helpful either and beyond a very simple«hi» when you walk in, they don’t seem interested in selling their product. My last time here, we ordered bbq chicken wings and they came out with barbecue sauce underneath them,(i.e. plain wings in a puddle of sauce). Display area for their pizzas has little to no products on display and what was(is?) there looks like it had been there for awhile. The pizza was also a lot greasier than it has been in the past.

Oh my goodness… this has to be THE worst Pizza Hut I’ve ever been too. Whoever invested in this franchise should seriously look at getting new employees. I know it’s an entry level job but this type of food preparation is idiot proof. How do you fuck it up? This stuff didn’t even taste like regular Pizza Hut… and the customer service needs serious help.

2 hours to delivery a pizza isn’t acceptable so if do you think about ordering one just call and go pick up it your self.
