Red Carpet Inn & Suites

My friend and I were looking for a cheap place to sleep while being on an outreach mission in the area. We got exactly that and we got what we paid for. The door of the entrance was dirty and sticky and a tell tale sign of what’s next. We checked in, the clerk was friendly. Our room was on the third floor. We passed vending machines on the second and on the third floor. The carpets were dirty and dusty looking. The doors were all old and paint coming off. All room doors say ‘no smoking’, yet we could barely breathe in some areas because of the cigarette smoke. Our room was outdated, yet clean. There was a desk, chairs, 2 large beds. The bath room was clean but we soon noticed that the sink takes a half hour to drain after use, and the sink leaks from the pipe. So, we placed the bucket underneath. There is no thermostat, but thankfully the temperature wasn’t too warm that night outside anyway. We paid $ 117 total for the 2 nights for 2 people. Given we only stayed there 7 – 8 hrs each night, it was, I guess, ok. I will not go back there.

Ok… I was in a pinch and rather then sleeping in my car i got a room at the red crapit inn… it’s a cheap, dirty, smelly, OLD hotel… what more can I say… the tiles were falling off the bathroom wall, the carpet looked like grape juice was all over it, the bathroom sink didn’t drain too well… i can honestly say only 2 good thing about this joint…1 I didn’t see any bugs… and beleive me I checked…& 2… the bed was kinda comfortable… if your in a pinch and don’t wanna sleep in a refridgerator box under an overpass on 87 stay here… if you have ANY other place… DON’T!!!
