I love this liquor store! It is easy to get to, always has parking, and I can get in and out without a wait. There selection isn’t the largest, but I think it is pretty well curated and the owner always has a suggestion if they don’t have exactly the wine I’m looking for.

The customer service at this store is not good, particularly by the owner. They have no regard for their customers. We purchased several items here on Saturday, including a bottle of white wine. We got home, opened the bottle, and poured a couple of glasses. As soon as it hit our lips we started dry heaving. The wine was absolutely rancid, almost toxic. We returned to the store with the rancid wine. We explained to the cashier that there was something wrong with the wine and we were concerned about it being sold to other customers. She said there was nothing she could do, but she would take our name and number and have the owner call us. We left the rancid bottle of wine with her. The owner never contacted us. We will not be buying anything from this place again. I don’t know if they don’t properly store their wine or what the issue is, but there are too many other stores in their area take a chance on them again. Especially when customer service isn’t a priority.

I started going here because it’s just a short distance from my office building. Sometimes I work evening shifts and«need» to pick up some wine on my break to consumer when I’m done with work. This is the closest place so I ventured in one day. They expanded the store a few months and now the selection is great. They also frequently have good sales. The other day I found the 2007 Beaujolais Nouveau marked down to $ 7.99 from $ 9.99. Not bad! They also have one of my favorite Spanish wines that many of the liquor stores I frequent don’t carry — El Coto Rioja Crianza. It’s not a pricy wine but for some reason I can’t find it many places. They also have a large selection of New York wines, which is apparently what they’re known for.(Disclaimer: I’m not big on most New York wines so I don’t have an opinion on the selection.) I also discovered they do tastings on Friday evenings and always have a surprisingly good little selection of cheese, h’ors douerves and/or desserts to go with it. If it wasn’t in a Wolf Road shopping plaza, I’d go there a lot more. I tend to avoid the entire road unless I’m at work.
