Decided on this place with some colleagues for lunch. It’s a tiny kitchen with a window, located inside the building at 100 State St. There was 1 person manning the kitchen. We ordered the Butch Cassidy — i.e. a buffalo chicken wrap with lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, buffalo sauce and ranch dressing in what appeared to be a wheat wrap. The Pros: The wrap wasn’t tough or stale, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the cheese was good. The dressings were tasty — the wrap itself was a nice size for the price, which was also reasonable. The Cons: The chicken was so tough and hard and a little gray. At first I thought maybe it was just overcooked, but after looking closer it seemed to resemble prepackaged chicken that was seasoned and cut into bits. The chicken was disappointing. I am also noting that they DO accept credit cards; however, for orders under $ 10, there is a $ 0.50 surcharge. However, I will be back — their menu has rice bowls and burritos, and I have heard from others that they have really great burritos. Plus, the person in the kitchen had good customer service and was friendly. So for now, a 3-star review. I will give The Vault another try and an updated review at that time.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Albany, NY
I always have a good experience when going to The Vault. It is located where Dave’s Snack Bar was in Downtown Albany. It is literally a hole in the wall, but the food is good and service even better. It is a hot spot for workers, so come before 12 or after 1245 to beat the lunch rush. I love the taco salad, but they also have other types of salad, wraps, rice bowls and burritos. There are daily specials, soups, baked goods and beverages. Oh and breakfast! They have bacon/sausage/ham/tomato sandwiches with two real fried eggs. No imitation stuff here! They also have bacon/sausage/ham/tomato breakfast burritos. All in all, try it out. It will not disappoint!
