Come here for the best breakfast with a smile! The food is great and the service is even better. The wait staff have all been here for several years and will always keep your coffee cup full. If you see a line just get in it and wait… you will be seated fast and it will be worth the wait.

This is the best breakfast in Stanly county, hands down! You will also be greeted and treated like a regular even if you are a first timer.
Omelets are awesome. Grits and liver mush were perfect. Your coffee cup will never reach empty.
Stacey and her staff will treat you like family. (Maybe even better!)
Will go back again and again.

I love the Breakfast Nook. I don’t know if it is because you can get coffee, an omelet with toast and grits for under $ 5, or if it is that I have been coming to the «Nook» since I was a child.
Their pecan waffle is so yummy and delicious! Food is always hot and consistent. And you get all the ‘gossip’ of what’s happening in town ;)
I see the same people, sitting at the same tables, talking about the same things everytime I visit… it’s nice to know that some things will never change!
There is always a line out the door (moves fast) on Saturday mornings. They open at 4am and serve til 11:00 (i think!).
The waitresses are all so sweet and friendly.
