Brunched at the B & B today. The food was what is to be expected from a local, Mom and Pop, breakfast joint in the Midwest. Exactly as expected the food was delivered hot off the grill. The service was great. I was also pleased that the fumes from the adjacent body shop were not making the place smell like paint and Bondo today.

One star for being closed at 9 am on a Friday(11÷6÷2015). If you’re going to claim to have the best breakfast, at a bare minimum you must be open to serve it. UPDATE: Came by on Sunday. You guessed it: closed. Is this place still in business?

One of the best breakfast places we’ve found! And we eat out a lot. The pancakes overflow the dinner plates. They bring carafes of coffee to the table. Prices are very low. A winner, all around!

2nd trip here for breakfast I was anxious to try the french toast. French toast was ‘ok’ & fresh, but their table syrup was ‘watery’ & flat out TERRIBLE, as in the WORST table syrup I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I usually avoid the chain restaurants when the mom&pop cafes are around, but Perkins down the road has MUCH better french toast & syrup. Sorry to have to say that but I just call’em like I see’em. I would come here for eggs/biscuits/gravy though.

We had an enjoyable breakfast at B & B Café. It has a friendly and warm vibe, and our server was friendly and attentive. Simple breakfast — 2 scrambled eggs, American fries, bacon, a biscuit, and coffee. The coffee was underwhelming — not much flavor, and what there was wasn’t attractive. The potatoes were very good — parboiled and then griddle-fried, with actual potato flavor and texture. The bacon looked like it was locally prepared and was very tasty. The biscuit was OK. The scramble eggs were… nicely cooked scrambled eggs. You can have a very pleasant breakfast here — just don’t order the coffee. Note that when we were there, they were not accepting credit cards.

Small town charm with awesome breakfast! Simple menu with great prices. They do run out with their items such as cinnamon roll and biscuit so go early!
