Space Aliens Grill & Bar

The food was decent nothing too special but overall being here was good. The service was great in the bar. Super helpful and friendly. Excellent environment. Would recommend for anyone looking to have a chill friendly time out.

This place takes me back to the 50’s and 60’s Sci-fi’s and a time when life was imaginative.

Really really great place if you’ve got kids with you. We had a lovely lunch with our 3 year old who was especially thrilled when the space alien himself came out to visit. We just ate but there was also a game area and a birthday area, and it looked like that would be fun too if you wanted to make it into a bigger excursion/​kids event.

As I am sure it is the same reason most people end up here, my son saw it and wanted to go. To be honest we didn’t look into it that much before we went, except to check the menu online, so we were in for a surprise.
I wasn’t impressed from the moment I walked in. I am guessing the décor is supposed to be bright and vibrant with lots of neon colors, but most of it was dulled by the layer dust and spider webs. You could tell that the place is not taken care of very well, because of the cracked worn seats, and dirty frayed carpeting. It seemed that the wait staff and cooking staff were more concerned with the bar area then the restaurant area. I saw the wait staff zipping in and out of the bar area, with a sense of urgency, but not so much for the people sitting in the restaurant. The only shining light was the gaming area, which works well to keep our 7 year old entertained.
Now on to the reason a person goes to a restaurant, the food. I have mentioned in post before that I have very high standards when it comes to the quality of food a restaurant serves, and unfortunately this place failed miserably. It all started when I looked at the «Ultimate Grilled Cheese». It stated on the menu that it was made with 6 different types of cheese, yet didn’t say what they were. Our server stopped by and I asked her what cheeses were on the grilled cheese, and she didn’t know, but would go ask. She came back about 10 minutes later and says «It has American, Mozzarella, and Pepper Jack». I point at the menu and say again, that it says 6 different types of cheese. She just looked at me with a blank stare and said «well I guess they put 2 slices of each». I then realized I was looking at her with the same blank look, but only cause I was amazed that someone didn’t know the meaning of the word, different. After a few more minutes I decided to go with the Cuban sandwich, which was an even bigger mistake. The pulled pork was dry, the ham was tasteless, and the best way I could describe the cheese, was if you rinsed off cottage cheese and spread the small curds on a bun.
The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1, is because it does have the kid distracting games there. The food itself was definitely 1 star at best. Will not be going back here, unless there is a major revamp done.

I went here a while back for my niece’s birthday party. She was turning 8. This is a fun place to celebrate a child’s birthday. This is also a good place for a family to go to for a good lunch or dinner.
I love the layout of this place! It has an outer space, UFO, and alien feel to it. Judging solely on the layout, I can understand why a child would choose this place for a celebration. The decorations and the walls have many decorative colors that work well with the whole theme. The designs seem to point towards a younger generation, but adults can have fun with this too.
This place has a lot of fun games that both children and adults can enjoy. Though they mostly pertain to children, adults can have fun playing along as I did. I think that we adults were having as much fun as the children were. I loved that I could earn tickets for garnering a certain amount of points on a game. These tickets can be redeemed for some fun alien prizes. I gave my tickets to my birthday niece. My niece got the alien teddy bear.
The employees appear to have a good eye on keeping everything clean and orderly. From what I observed, I did not see any problems with any messes on the tables, chairs, floors, etc. Therefore, I felt comfortable walking in here and enjoying a good birthday party.
The waiter was friendly and accommodating to the requests that pertained to the party. She was also entertaining to the children, and they all loved her. They even started a happy birthday song. There were a couple other employees who helped with the party, and they were also great with kids. They clearly went out of their ways to make sure that everybody had a great time, especially the birthday niece. Overall, everybody who served us worked well with a party of fifteen people (eight kids, seven adults).
We ordered three types of pizza. One was sausage and pepperoni, another was something spicy, and unfortunately, I cannot remember third one. All of the pizzas were served to us hot and fresh, and they all tasted delicious. We ordered fifteen pizzas. Even with the large order, they still served us the pizzas at a reasonable amount of time.
If I ever know somebody who is looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or to bring a family for any reason, I will tell them about this place. This is a wonderful place for such.

The food was great but the service was poor. We probably had 6 people serving us and all had attitudes. We weren’t a large group either. It wasn’t packed either. I understand having a long day at work sucks but there is no reason to take 40 minutes to bring a box and act poorly.

Our son had a great time with the arcade and extensive alien décor. My husband and I enjoyed it too. The hard-​working waitress was very nice and the food was decent. Better than Chuck E Cheese and other such places.

Nice place to catch a game whether it’s nfl college football or hockey. Daily specials make it even better. Food is decent from a nice menu. Good for families or a group of guys or gals. Several dining areas to choose from and a small game area for the kiddos. IF you have been driving by without stopping in, give it a chance. More than likely you will be glad you did. Overall satisfied with my lunch. No wait and service was fast and friendly.

Came in for lunch on Saturday with my family to use a coupon for a buy one lunch get one free from a coupon book I had purchased. After being seated we were told the coupon is only valid on m-​f because that’s when they serve their lunch menu. The terms of the coupon just said not valid with other offers or on holidays, but did not indicate anything about weekends. The manager said he wouldn’t give us any discount because the coupon is meant to get people to come in during the week and the menu says that lunch is served Monday through Friday. There is no way to know this from looking at the coupon. Very disappointing.

Stopped at Space Aliens again for an early dinner. Caught the tail end of HH and scored a cheap Long Island tea. Sat in bar area again and tried the ribs… sadly wasn’t impressed. Service, however, was excellent. Fried pickles were the best we’ve had but fairly small portion for the $ 8.99 price tag.

Very good food surprisingly! very friendly staff. But they don’t let ANYONE under the age of 21 into the bar area (which is like the rest of the restaurant except it has tv’s)

Gorl how can you not like this place? Avoid the premium outlet strip mall and head to space aliens. Ben’s grilled cheese came out like a UFO and was so good. My salad was mediocre but you know what? Serves me right for ordering a salad at space aliens. There’s a friggin full bar here that had 3 $ bloody martinis on Sundays.
Ben was really into the trackball game and won 34 tickets at once.
Better than Chuck e cheese.

Grilled cheese that looks like a flying saucer, full bar, drink specials, arcade, and cheesy prizes. What’s not to like?!
The décor will make you smile and the food is good but not too spendy. Would definitely recommend this place for adults who want to change up their dining habits or go somewhere unique.
Bottom line: good drinks, fun arcade with games anyone can win, fun foodstuffs and good atmosphere.

I’ve been going to happy hour here for the past few years, excellent deals! Food always comes out hot and delicious, can’t beat the price of $ 3 you-​call-​its and the staff in the bar area is always friendly and on top of it. I’ve been once or twice on Wednesday for the all-​you-​can-​eat rib special and that’s always good too. Haven’t ordered much else off of their full menu but the happy hour is twice daily and always awesome!

The entire restaurant was sticky! Chairs, tables, floors, it was all sticky and gross. It took over 45 minutes to get our food, which was cold. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and the pork was dry and crunchy. Waitress came over and apologized for not bringing the food quicker and that she hadn’t visited our table for over an hour. We stopped for dinner only because our kids wanted to try it, never again. I caution anyone who eats there to NOT waste your hard earned money on this place.

The food we had was only ok, my 6 year old liked the arcade area but we found a handful of the games were not functioning properly. My buffalo chicken sandwich was not very good. Small and very little kick. Pass.

Marcel Proust is quoted as saying, «Love is space and time measured by the heart.» I would amend Marcel’s assertion slightly. «Love is Space Aliens Grill & Bar™ and time measured by the heart (burn induced by too much Cosmic Coleslaw®).»

This place has decent food. The pizza and barbecue were surprisingly good. This restaurant has a fun atmosphere, which I enjoy. It’s a little hokey but everyone seems to have a good time. I wish they had happy hour specials.

We stopped here for dinner because we were in the area. I’d been to a Space Aliens years before, but I think it was one of the locations that closed. We have 2 toddlers who loved playing the arcade games so it was a great place for us to stop. The food turned out to be pretty good too — the fries were hot and crispy, and then on Wed. night there was an all-​you-​can-​eat BBQ special with the ribs, pork and brisket for $ 12.99. We had the ribs and the brisket which were both pretty darn good. Ended up with a huge container of leftovers too, so I felt like it was a good value, even if we did spend $ 15 on game tokens. The service was fast and friendly. I think I had an overall feeling that Space Aliens weren’t very good, but this one was definitely worth the stop!

Been here a handful of times in the past, it has usually been «meh» but my last visit found this family spot in a groove. I ordered the baby back ribs and to my surprise they lived up to the hype as described on the menu. I am frankly a food snob when it comes to BBQ and especially baby back ribs. There were outstanding. The smoke ring was perfect, the rub was just right, and the flavor and tenderness spot on. They tasted delicious without sauce — always a tell tale sign of good ribs. The rest of the food the fam ordered was above average. A small chain with a large menu — usually a place for a deep dive into the world of mediocrity. Not Space Aliens. I strongly urge you to order the baby back ribs.
