This is the oldest bar in Albia and one of the oldest in the greater region, having operated continuously as a bar since 1904. A pretty amazing feat!
This is a very pleasant and comfortable to hang out and unwind with friends. It’s a little removed from the downtown square and lacks the exterior charm the bars on the square have, but inside it’s just as inviting and has just as much character as its neighbors to the southeast.
By the way, our draft beer here was so cheap that our tips were actually more than the cost of the beer!
