This place is a hole in the wall in all the best ways possible. I’ll admit I haven’t been here for several years, but I still lust for their delicious tenderloin quite often. You can drive through or walk in, and it is a very small little spot. I’m writing this review to urge people to eat there and check it out. Small local businesses like Smitty’s(or simply known as «the tenderloin shop» in my family circle) need to stay around. Enjoy that tenderloin, get some salt on it, and you won’t be disappointed.

Best tenderloins in this small town. Mustard, mayo, pickle, and onion is the way to have them.

My third visit was for lunch on a day when I guess I was hungry. I had my usual breaded tenderloin and decided to try a «beef burger», which translates to «loose meat» or «maid-rite». Beef Burger is what they used to call them in my home town. The tenderloin was consistent with what I had on my first visits. It is real meat, it is tender. It still suffers from the fact that the pork is not flavorful. The beef burger was OK, but I really would like them to season the meat a little more. I always eat these with pickle and mustard. I had to salt this one a little bit. Smitty’s beef burger is not greasy and in fact was a little on the dry side. I will probably stick to the tenderloin.
