Turner’s Appliance

Ken Turner has serviced our appliances since we moved to Sea Ranch over 20 years ago. In fact we only buy appliances we know he will service because we’ve found him to be entirely professional, which means respectful, courteous, kind, thorough and reliable. I’ve never had to call him back on a a repair. Sometimes it takes a little time to get parts: we all live in the boonies here. I can imagine him being matter of fact in stating to a customer that he doesn’t service a certain brand (Sears, for instance: they’re covered by the Sears repair folks who come up here), but never rude. The job he’s done for us consistently merits his labor charges, in our opinion; I think a good appliance repair person should make a living wage, too. And Ken Turner is excellent.

In December of 2012, I hired Ken Turner to install a microwave oven to replace the existing built in one. He charged me $ 120.00 per hour and I was charged nearly $ 600.00 for a routine job. He even borrowed my tools!
Stay away from this installer. He is way overpriced and lacking in simple know/​how.

Don’t deal with this person. he is rude, uncooperative and entitled. he refuses to come for a repair on an appliance in which he is the only service person within 60 miles… just refused. yet he drives even farther to another area. Dacor should fire him. I am certain he gets paid quite well for his work for them, mileage and all. so don’t bother with this man. not worth the insulting attitude.

Rediculous service charge was 161.00 for coming to our home in Gualala. He called when he was in town on another service call and asked if he could come that evening. He was 3 miles away! 30 minutes later and 2 springs changed on the dishwasher door, $ 191.00 ! Never again!
