I initially wanted to rent a truck and drive all my stuff to another state… then I realized that I’d be doing this by myself and ain’t nobody got time for all that! I called around to some companies and the prices they were charging for a storage box were outrageous! And the price did not include any type of insurance, blankets, etc. Of course, those were available for an extra fee. I contacted 1−800-Pack-Rat and Laurie spent so much time on the phone with me explaining every little detail and things that I did not think about. She was such a sweet and kind-​hearted person and I felt really good about using this company for my out-​of-​state move. Honestly, if it weren’t for Laurie, I probably would have gone with a much cheaper (and not that great after reading reviews) company. They dropped by storage unit off pretty quickly considering I made a last minute decision to go this route. I could go on and on, but I was highly pleased with the level of service I received… and most importantly, ALL my belongings arrived just as I had packed them. For sure, I would use this company should I decide to move again.
