Great New Mexico brunch, green chiles yum! After being stranded in Albuquerque, this was a great find. Nothing fancy, but great breakfast cooked perfect and served friendly.

This is a nice, quiet little place to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea. I’ve had the carne asada burrito a couple times now. 6 months ago, on my first visit, I thought the green chile on top was excellent. Today, the green chile was all sorts of watery and bland. The red chile on my fries was pretty good though. I saw an older couple that ordered breakfast — and I will have to go back to try out some of those gigantic pancakes. All in all this place is a nice *Cheap* meal. Be warned, though, that your clothes will smell like this place for the rest of the day.

It’s now the El Mananero. Menu has been trimmed some(no giant burrito, no ABQ Philly), but the food is excellent. Plus low-carb and gluten-free options for those that want them. One of the regular waitresses has trouble with the prices on the menu, but the other two are pretty good. You will see the staff eating here as well, which I consider a good sign. === Update: They’re closed now. Too bad.

Came here October 2008. Big place, very roomy, airy, nicely decorated and comfortable. Food was cheap at around $ 7 each, very filling, red and green chile, and of course the yummy pockets that you fill with honey or eat with your food. We had a breakfast burrito with green chile, pueblo omelet, and a potato. All rather good. Tasty! And all for $ 12.72.
