This is a very interesting gallery. It’s located in Old Town, on the second floor of a building right off the plaza, above an ice cream shop. You go upstairs and walk in a full circle around the building, checking out a wide variety of art from all kinds of media: wood, glass, ceramics/pottery, photography, painting, textiles, metals, nature — I’m sure things I have forgotten. It’s a co-op for all kinds of artists and all kinds of art. There are some amazingly sophisticated pieces and some fairly simple pieces and everything in between. It’s a really nice mixture of all different kinds of art, and all price ranges. it would be a wonderful place to go to find a gift for someone when you had no clue what to get them, because you would have an enormous range of things to choose from. The artists take turns monitoring the shop, so you may not be able to get questions answered about a particular piece at the moment you ask it. However, they are very helpful about contacting each other or leaving information, as it is in their best interest to help each other out. It just might take some patience on your part. It’s a great gallery, worth your time. And possibly, your money.
