Anytime Fitness

This Anytime Fitness is quite nice but has its’ own policies and procedures that differ from other AF location in ABQ. Their dues are higher than most other locations with no additional services offered and the owner is also quite intrusive (e.g., watches cameras and calls/​leaves voicemails to confront patrons). Be aware of this before you start going there. They will take over your account without discussing with you or notifying you of the Chang. All others that I have gone to let you know if/​when your account is switched to a new location that you use more often.

I like the fact that I don’t have to plan my workout around my gym hours. Same location Snap fitness was in but with an added suite expansion for more equipment. Wish there was aquatics but overall I like this place.

I’m no longer a member although when I was it was a convenient location and convenient hours being open 24 hours a day 7 days a week!

Wanted to try them out with 14 day Unilocal deal. Saw they were open Anytime ²⁴⁄₇. NOT if a guest go after 10 am. It is now 8 am. On to next place!

Fitness without the fluff… I made that up all by myself.
Free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, a weird machine that looks like you are roller blading while using it, a TRX rack, squat racks, foam rollers, small fitness classes, a personal trainer, showers, and a clean safe environment I can access — whenevs, it’s perfect. It’s also super affordable.
It’s pretty quiet, I rarely wait to use the weights. Most members have excellent gym etiquette. No one there is real social, but they are all friendly. It’s nice to work out and get out without feeling like carrying on a conversation over dead lifts. It’s like, «Hey, fellah, I’m here to lift weights, not socialize». I think this gym gets that.
Now if the guy who never clears his weight rack after using it could clear his weight rack after using it, now that would be awesome. That guy!!!
