When we we arrived our waiter was much more interested in changing the tvs. He told us that they were out of wontons a few minutes before our wonton tacos appeared… very strange. After a longer than expected wait our food finally did show up, guess the chef was watching the game as well. 2 out of 8 meals were missing fries etc. After we complained our waiter got himself together and did a good job for the rest of our meal. The food was ok I had the cedar grilled lemon chicken which was dry, but the flavors were there. Maybe just a bad day. Overall a not an enjoyable experience.

AVOID… Waitress said she couldn’t serve alcoholic drinks but she did anyway. Clearly they were very busy during the day on Sunday and by the time we arrived at 8:30pm they were tired and ready to go home although they’re open until midnight. The tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned off. The bread that came with my pasta was hard as a rock, and hardly any chicken was on/with the pasta. I had just ordered the same chicken pasta dish at Chili’s last night and it was much better in taste and it had about four times the chicken.

We’ve gone here a few times and each time the quality of food and service seems to have diminished. The kitchen cannot understand the terms rare and medium rare. This last visit the server was a little slap dash. They seem understaffed or something. Luckily in Albuquerque, you’re not limited to chains. I doubt we’ll be back

Applebee’s as a chain is going downhill, and this specific location seems to be a leader in that downward trend. Here we go: 1) The menu shows shoe string onion straw on a burger. Rather, they loaded the burger with singed onion(to make it crispy). The waiter apologized and promised to bring the correct onion strings, but out came out more onion that had been even more singed to make it burnt crispy. The manager finally came out and said that’s how they do it. Hmmm. 2) My boy’s steak was tough and tasted«off» he said. Sure enough, the runs hit four hours later. Plus, the portions of mashed potatoes and veggies were embarrassingly small. 3) I’m vegetarian, so I inquired about a veggie burger. The waiter had no idea what I was talking about(veggies on a bun was what he was thinking before I stopped him). He went to inquire with the cook(which took literally 15 minutes), and no, they don’t have veggie burgers. Fine, some places don’t have it, but this day and age? Get with the times! Service was slow, food very mediocre and not hot, and the pride in food served was just not there IMHO. There are plenty of other options in the $ 12 to $ 20 entrée range. We won’t be back…

My husband, daughters, and I had dinner here last night and had a HORRIBLE experience. My husband and were in the service industry for years and can be very forgiving when a restaurant is busy or short-staffed. However, this was definitely not the case at this location last night. The hostesses were dressed like they should be cocktail waitresses at a gentlemen’s club, not a family dining establishment. Our server took our drink order, delivered our drinks, then proceeded to ignore us for 20 minutes. I had to ask the manager to ask our server to take our order. My food was incorrect and overcooked and we were delivered dirty plates to split up our appetizer. The servers and manager would huddle in the pathway to the restrooms gossiping, definitely NOT doing their jobs. Many of the servers had an attitude and acted as if we were a hindrance as customers. I will never be back to this Applebee’s location again. I refuse to spend my hard earned money in an environment that supports the“ghetto fabulous” attitudes that are wrecking our society.

Have to give it a good review. Food came out fast and the staff were cool. And my beer was cold so that’s worth a star.

Out of Towners — DONOTGOHERE, we went to Santa Fe on vacation and in the eveing were haging out in Albuquerque we did not know of any place to eat, it was 930 pm on a Sunday Night and we were running out of options, not knowing where to go and not knowing any areas in town we saw this place and went in. We stood around for 15 minutes and NOTONEPERSONCAMETOGREETUS, people who were sitting and eating kept looking at us. looking for someone to help us. The bar was 10 feet away from us and the bartender VERYWELLAWARE that we need help did not make any effort. After standing around with the menu for about 15 minutes we left. We are from houston and Applebees does not have a very good reputation here, in 20yrs of living here ive gone there once never to return. I guess it holds for this restaurant nationwide. please dont waste your time here, they are the worst. WHEREYOUSHOULDGOINTHISAREA – Driving up we had seen a place called SCARPAS Pizza place so we decided to go there, with 10 mins to closing now left, they greeted us, served us perfectly, and did not rush us at all, great food and great price. I will never ever give ApplePoo another chance

Normal Applebee’s to me, good service for our party of 9. Fast, easy, tons of choices, NFL on many screens around the place.

I have customer rewards here and I still wasn’t able to get anything free here for my birthday. Our waitress frowned the whole time and didn’t wish me Happy Birthday once. Garbage.

The worst. Food was cold, service was slow, we were not happy. Waitress overlooked us for a bigger table, even though we «were» regulars at this place. Will never return.
