Very disappointed. The Husky blonde stylist with short hair should have been more careful than to judge my clothing and how I was dressed. Now I can share with all my hospital friends how I was treated at the salon.

When I first moved to Albuquerque, I tried another hair stylist and just didn’t like her style. She is good at her job, but didn’t work for me. Plus, she didn’t really care — she cancelled her appointments one day and didn’t make any effort to make sure I got a slot with her, even though she as the one who cancelled. Her attitude about that incident made me look around for a new stylist.
I found great reviews for Laurie and decided to give her a try. Thank god I did! Laurie is awesome! Not just a nice person, but does a great job on my hair, and listens to what I want with it. I can’t stand hair stylists who do what they want with MY hair. It defies explanation.
Laurie got the color I wanted and my costs were finally where they should be — you just can’t beat great service, a nice person and low costs. Right?
The salon is warm and friendly, and I feel good going there. The hair sinks are pretty cool, and the space in general is very welcoming.
Laurie rocks. Go see her.

Laurie saved me from jumping off a bridge. I received the worst haircut in my life at Inspire. In tears and with no where to turn… I found Laurie on Cityseach. My long beautiful wavy hair was chopped and thinned to a horrible mess. I called Artistic Creations and Laurie answered the phone. It was around 5pm on a Saturday and I begged for someone to see me. She was sweet and very understanding to my situation. I drove to the salon with red eyes and fear… wondering if my hair would look worse, maybe even shorter. I was relieved to see that Laurie was older than 25 years old and with lots of experience. She worked at Mark Pardo salons for years. She looked at my hair and assured me she could make it look presentable. I paid more than what I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. I was still upset from my original hair cut diaster, however, Laurie did her best to make me feel better. Lori is experienced, professional and her fees are worth it. Don’t be fooled by trendy salons with cool furniture… most likely they spent more time decorating than finding talented stylists. The only drawback… one of the other stylist was eating and stopped by Laurie station to give her food… I thought that was a bit unprofessional. This is a reflection on the other stylist not Laurie.
