Fantastic sandwiches. Fresh and clean — they taste just like they do in Vietnam. Lots of local Vietnamese clientele so you know it’s good. If you’re hunting for a durian smoothie in abq, this is your place.

First time ordering Banh Mi. They made it easy with a big photo menu. Delicious sandwich and surprisingly tasty sesame ball.(Hot and gooey on the inside!) The shrimp spring roll was typical.) Reasonable prices. I look forward to bringing friends here.

During our 5 day visit in Albuquerque, my husband and I came here 4 times; This tells you how much we love the food here! From sandwiches, coffee, crepes to fried tofu and sesame balls, everything we tried was delicious. Staff were pleasant and obviously love what they do, which were reflected in the quality of the food and the cleanness of the café.

I love having lunch at this place. It’s small, friendly, very affordable, and delicious.

The Banh Mi sandwiches are awesome here. However, seating is very limited and they don’t really invest in air conditioning when its hot or heating when it’s freezing, so maybe don’t dine in. The service is good, nothing spectacular. They sell baked goods and Vietnamese coffee, both of which are great. If you’re going at lunch time, there is often a line.

There was a line when I arrived so I knew the food had to be good. I was right, they have one of the best Bahn Mi’s I’ve ever had. The line took a little longer than I was thinking it would but they were doing they’re best to crank out orders. It’s a small place, not many tables, so I’d recommend taking it To-Go.

I was in Albuquerque for the weekend and found this gem via Unilocal.I came here twice! I’m just baffled by how fresh the ingredients are in the sandwich and how well made the spring rolls are. The wait is short even though it gets very busy during lunch time. The Vietnamese coffee is also delicious to try. Available seating indoors and outdoors. Great affordable prices. Enjoy! You will not be disappointed.

AMAZING! I will dream about this place hereafter. We ordered the #6 pork sandwich and #10 beef lemongrass sandwiches, sesame balls, puff pastry with chicken and green chile, and a strawberry Boba smoothie. There was a line, but it moved quickly. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was efficient and friendly.

The #6 grilled pork bahn mi is so good! What’s the price at now… like $ 5? It goes up occasionally, but it’s still super reasonable. Grab a sandwich & head over to Veterans Memorial Park for a picnic.

I just might be able to eat these sandwiches everyday for the rest of my life and be completely and utterly satisfied. We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was hopping, and rightfully so! The food was delicious, fresh, super fast and super reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and try the #6, pork Banh Mi sandwich. You’ll thank me later!

This place is AMAZING. So, I am not one who enjoys enjoy eating a vietnamese sandwich. I do not come here for the sandwiches, I come here for the waffles. They are a secret Item and they are not on the menu. It is a green coconut waffle. Everything about makes me want to wake up in the morning. It is something I crave and I hope you try it so you can Crave it. My mouth is watering even writing about it.

A tiny little Banh Mi shop tucked away near Talin Market. We stopped in today and tried the Banh Mi sandwiches and these yummy sesame rolls(which were still warm!). We got the #2 and #10 and both were delicious — fresh bread topped with flavorful meat, crisp pickled veggies, and yummy mayo. Each 12″ sandwich was only $ 6 — a great deal for how delicious it was! This seems like a popular place(there was a bit of a line when we got there). The service was friendly and prompt. There’s limited seating inside(and a few tables outside) so we took our order to go. There were other yummy items to try including spring rolls, smoothies, bakery items, and some ready made Vietnamese food options — so we’ll definitely be back!

This has to be THE best place for banh mi in ABQ. I’ve tried multiple items on their menu and all of them are great. Sometimes they can be pretty heavy-handed on the mayo/aoili/butter component so I usually ask them to go light on the sauce for personal preference. They also have some baked goods occasionally for sale and I have tried the green chile chicken in the puff pastry which is excellent– I usually scarf it down before I can even drive all the way home(I live less than 10 mins from here…). My only complaint are the prices– I’m used to paying $ 2.50-$ 3.00/sandwich in Houston with more meat/filling whereas these will run you about $ 6 per sandwich. Also they charge $ 2.50+ or something absurd to add egg to a sandwich — you can buy an entire carton of eggs for that price!!! I guess you can charge whatever when you have a strong monopoly on the banh mi biz. :)

I’ve eaten a bunch of bahn mi in LA but this is the most authentic Vietnamese sandwich I know of outside of Vietnam. I love this place. I recommend the bahn mi hue nuong(marinated pork). And a never recommend sweets but you should try this mung bean, coconut milk pie thing I am posting a photo of… It’s delicious! And not too sweet either.

I’m not quite sure how they do it. I need the recipe! I’m a big sandwich guy so I love a new take on the bread, meat and toppings thing. Banh Mi Coda is that hidden gem you hope to find. I simply just wish it was closer to where I live! Things you must do when you get here: look at their menu on the wall of their delicious sandwiches and find one that suits your style. Also, pick out a spring roll of your choosing and prepare to have an excellent meal. I wish I knew more about Vietnamese cooking methods but I can’t stress enough that this place has got it going on! Everything just seems so amazingly fresh. I know that phrase gets way over used but it is exactly what you’ll be thinking when you come here! Check it out soon!

Strong banh mi sandwiches! I would have liked to sample more but was only in town visiting and went for the chicken. Very good bread. I asked for extra cilantro and got that no problem. The other filling and chicken tasted very good as well. One shortfall: the sandwich(or maybe just my sandwich that day) needed 15% more meat and filling. They also sell lots of other already-made Vietnamese treats ready for you to try!

Balls balls balls!!! I love their sticky sesame balls. Unlike any place I’ve been before, these glutinous balls have a crunchy shell on the outside, and a mung bean paste mixed with coconut inside. This great traditional Asian«breakfast doughnut» are quite delicious. Their about a dollar a piece, so don’t get the dozen. In addition to that, I ordered a pork patty, it was a mix between a croissant-empanada shell on the outside, filled with a salty and sweet pork on the inside, this was very good. I couldn’t get myself to pay $ 6+ for a banh mi sandwich because I’m used to the Cali prices, but I hear they’re delicious. This place was easy to get in and get out, but I can see the crowds building up. So be prepared, line moves quick, don’t be that rookie that holds up the line gawking.

I’m from southern CA. I know my banh mi very well. This place did an amazing job with the fresh baguettes and meat. The atmosphere was small and friendly. The ladies are sweet and were quick to get the food ordered and out. So good. I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant. Try their lychee or avocado shakes! I don’t like boba so I wouldn’t recommend putting that into your drinks.

What a great spot in Albuquerque! I don’t have high expectations for Asian food in New Mexico but this is definitely so good even compared to a San Francisco bahn mi. The prices are a little high for Vietnamese sandwiches compared to the couple bucks some places in California charge but overall still a great deal. Service was really friendly. There’s some tables to sit at but they fill up quickly. My boyfriend and I ordered two #1 combos($ 6 each). It has a creamy pâté spread with the perfect ratio of crunchy vegetables to tender/soft meats. The bread is soft which I prefer to the tough breads I’ve had before. The sandwiches are thin so you can easily eat an entire one. We actually went back to share a third because of how delicious it was. Tried the sesame balls filled with mung bean($ 0.75 each). They were crunchy and tasty on the outside but I’m not the biggest fan of this. Will definitely be back again if I’m in need of a cheap and satisfying meal. Perfect for ordering to go!

I’m addcited to the number 10 lemongrass meatball Bahn Mi and lychee smoothies. My hubby loves the numbers 6 and 8. They also have a huge selectiopn of things I want to try but am afraid to. ;) I love that the vast majority of people who come here that are not from the base or the labs are Vietnamese. To me, that says«this place is legit!» My secret password to Bahn Mi Coda is to go on the weekend. It’s never as crowded. If you have to go during the week, get there before 11:30 and after 1:30 to miss the line insanity.
