So impressed with this local toy store. Owner is knowledgeable and kind. And they wrap gifts!

We came here looking for something for our 3.5 year old. He had some Christmas money saved up and wanted something neat so I thought we could bring him here versus toys r us. Not the best decision. Granted they have GREAY toys for the older crowd, their selection for the littles is lacking. In a couple of years we’ll being him back, but for now we’ll have to stick to toys r us.

True to their motto, «Silly Name, Serious Fun,» Bigglesnorts is a fun and unique toy store for kids and adults. There are a variety of toys that have a common goal, sensory and motor skills, puzzles and unique toys! My daughter is signed up with their birthday program that you get a $ 10 coupon. The staff is friendly and want to show you toys, and encourage your kids to play with all the toys! Bigglesnorts offer daily workshops(coloring, legos, arts and crafts), toys for all ages and gift wrapping. My kids love going to Bigglesnorts! This unique toy store is one you have to check out!

I’ll begin with my Scrooge criticism of modern-day toy stores that attempt to buck the trend of foreign-made, cheap plastic toys. Melissa & Doug products, specifically: as a somewhat conscientious parental consumer, I actually look at the tags that tell me where a product was made, and way more often than not, the toys I want to buy for my kiddo are indeed made in countries where child labor laws are perhaps non-existent. So goes for Melissa & Doug: made in India, Pakistan, China. Such is the global marketplace, unfortunately. And now I offer my Scrooge revelation: Bigglesnorts, and toy stores of the like, truly care about kids. The products in this store challenge children to seek creativity and ditch video games for enlightenment. The employees are receptive, they listen to us parents and honestly care. One visit to this little strip-mall vista will definitely deliver the goods: your kids will be creatively engaged, and it’s likely you will be as well, wanna-be grown-up. Great place. It offers so much for every age group, just put it on your must-give list for birthdays and holidays and, hell, come in anytime. There’s a ton to discover, made-in-China or not. One of very few great toy stores in ABQ.

Went in with my wife(she is a 2nd grade teacher). We picked up some story cubes and Dweebies, the cubes were a real hit in the classroom. Teachers go check this place out, Jason is a really nice guy, we’ll be visiting again for sure!
