I’m impressed! These folks know what they are doing and its refreshing to experience this level of expertise in this «do it yourself» era in which we all live. Case in point … I had some problems with car key I duplicated at one of those automatic kiosk machines. The key created by this machine worked but it required a very delicate and precise positioning for me to turn it to start the engine. I also lost my electronic key fob a while back and had to replace it. Previously, a key fob replacement cost me a pretty penny at the dealership so I put it off. At the recommendation of my mechanic, I went to Bill’s L&K and they expertly took care of both problems. The key works great with no finagling required and I got a new electronic key fob for almost half the price previously charged to me by the dealership! Score! Bill’s Lock and Key is great and I’ll be back.

I’ve been a customer for many years for small things, mainly. Today Phil re-​keyed my house after a set of keys were stolen and a burglary occurred. He handled the job efficiently and professionally.
I also have friends that have used their services and are also quite satisfied. I highly recommend Bill’s Lock and Key.
This job I set up by phone, but their store on Wyoming has everything you need in the lock and key department.

Awesome customer service! I had my house keys made as soon as I closed on my house and Bill’s couldn’t have been more professional — and congratulatory on my house purchase!
They also gave me estimates on some key fobs I need reprogrammed and that was helpful.
Overall I would highly recommend Bill’s Lock & Key for their great service and quickly made keys at an affordable price.

I needed a locksmith… and I needed one «now». I found Bill’s Lock and Key in a Google search. Complete with a 4+ star rating. Now I know why… When I called, Katrina said they were booked until the following Wed (this was Fri). I explained my situation and she could not have been more compassionate/​sympathetic. She told me for a $ 20 fee they could send someone out after hours. Eric arrived at the time promised… to the minute. As one reviewer stated: «this company is as professional as they come.» I wholeheartedly concur. Eric also made security suggestions for the French door. One of the charges was not included in the phone estimate so Eric did not charge me for the new keys. Their prices are more than fair!
I cannot say enough good things about this company, I highly recommend!!!

I went through six locksmiths before I found Bills Lock & Key. If you ask contractors, builders, people who know — they ALL refer Bill because he simply has no equal in the Albuquerque area.
The locksmith business seems to attract lots of low-​lifes so it’s hard to find someone to trust. After being burned several times I got Bill’s name from another vendor I trusted and oh boy what a difference.
His company is as professional as they come. The locksmith that came to give me an estimate was friendly and helpful, pointing out security issues and helping figure out where I could save money. He spent most of the day going through my business re-​keying locks, installing deadbolts and other security devices and did a very good job. He cleaned up after himself. He was polite and generous. He charged me a mere pittance compared to what the first jerk wanted to charge me just to install one lock. Bill’s is an honest company and in my opinion choosing anyone else is pretty risky.
The price is fair, the product is amazing and the people are great.
Highly recommended.
