Bird Song Used Books

Always loved this store and the owners, Asa and Morwyn. They always remembered my name even though i only visited sporadically. And they really know their stuff.
I’ve been consistently impressed by the quality and breadth of their selection, especially for such a small store. Particularly in the categories of sci-​fi, spiritual, self-​help books, and literature. Those were usually the categories i was looking in. Not to mention very reasonable pricing. If you’re at all like me, this place is highly recommended.
Also, check out their website. Last time i checked, if you sent them an email, they’d quickly get back to you on whether they had that particular title in stock. Still worth going in person though, because the quality of their
curated collection is such that I’d often find other titles i wouldn’t have known about otherwise …
So sad that Asa has left us now … Though i imagine that will in no way diminish the quality of this very fine store.

If I need a science fiction title or a Marxist book of theory, I always try Birdsong first. Birdsong is a solid used bookstore which specializes in fiction, science fiction and fantasy titles. There are also good history section too. They recently moved to 526 Washington NE too, so check out the new store.
