Nice school. Just moved from the east coast and was looking for a tkd place for our 3yr old. Did some extensive internet research and drove by multiple places before we finally settled on Blackman. We set up the initial appointment through their website and corresponded with Rebecca who responded very quickly to all our inquiries. Rebecca is also one of the instructors and is extremely patient with the kids and is a great teacher. The school is set up pretty nice with the kids practicing in a huge room with a huge glass wall facing the lobby/waiting area, so the parents can watch their kids. My only complaint is the price. It is one of the more pricier schools but I guess you get what you pay for. Students are allowed to attend twice per week. If they miss a session they can make it up in the next week. Also a bonus is that there’s a sonic in the parking lot :)

Both my boys received their blackbelts from Blackmans. It was the best training as well as giving them the confidence and discipline as they went through high school and college. I highly recommend Blackman TkD.

I have been going to Blackman TKD for over 8 years now and have just signed up my son to start also. Great place! Great for kids and adults 8−17−15UPDATE my son and I are still members and love it. I’ve started their Jiujitsu program and I’m having a great time.

We signed up our kids for TKD in 2012. They continue to love it and we’ve enjoyed watching them advance through the ranks. Blackman’s has very good customer service and offers constructive and tailored instruction. Our kids have learning about self-defense, respect, discipline, goal setting, leadership and the importance of family.
