Cold Stone Creamery

Ok, first off, I love Cold Stone and have been here many times (successfully) before, but this visit was, well, frustrating. I was greeted right away and my server, who was very nice, but… I wanted to try a frappé… out of frappé material. Ok, I’ll have a large milk shake with coffee and dark chocolate (delicious when done right, by the way)…no medium cups, just small. Ok. Brought the coffee shake to the register… no dark chocolate? Sorry. Goes to make another shake (the coffee shake just sits there, begging to given to a polite but now frustrated customer). Comes back to the register with the new shake (all the while wondering if she will be a shining star and pony up the extra shake and save the day) but that’s it. BTW, it was about ¾ full and I realized on the drive home that I think I was charged for a large! $ 5.88 for about six sips. Like I said, frustrating. Sometimes it’s just about customer service, and today it failed.

The worst Coldstone I’ve ever had the misfortune of stepping into. The girl behind the counter didn’t greet us, and ignored us for a few minutes while she texted on her phone. She sullenly asked what we wanted; my husband had to remind her that she forgot three of the ingredients on a six ingredient sundae. My ice cream was sloppily made, and thrown at me in a cup with ice cream spilling out the sides. It was the consistency of soup, and I barely ate any before just getting a lid and taking it home to try to freeze it. Ironically, the sign next to the register promised «fun, friendly people» serving quality products. Not so much.

Awesome service, Cat saved me by making a same day ice cream pie for my wife’s birthday. It was amazing, and I highly recommend this location for great service.

My experience here has been unpleasant as the melted ice cream I left the store with. The counter help was extremely rude and oblivious to my to go needs. I love Coldstone but I will be going to a different location for now on.

All the things you would want from a Coldstone. Delicious, ice-​creamy, sweet combinations. Ample parking and great staff. ‘Nuff said!
