go there alot for work– boss buys — have large orders– foods good– can’t seem to get what we order:(quite frustrating after a bit of a drive — order large enough don’t want to look through bags before leaving especially after waiting for a while even though you called the order in. getting back to work to mean looks because someone didn’t get what they ordered. dions has been around long enough to have gotten it right by now?

I’ve never had a problem with this Dions ever. They are always very helpful over the phone and whenever I come in to pick up my order they always greet me with a smiling face. That’s something that’s really nice to see it from a Dion since I’ve heard so many rumors about how terrible it is working at Dions. I work at a residential care house that’s very close to this Dion so I’m constantly getting salads and pizzas from here. If I could say one thing to the staff and the manager of this place it would be to «keep up the good work!»

Food: I ordered the small(12″) pizza and paid $ 10.25. The pizza is called«The 505» and includes pepperoni and green chiles. A New Mexican specialty! The pizza has plenty of toppings. The crust is hearty, with w crunchy exterior and chewy interior. This pizza rivals anything made by other pizza chains like Pizza Hut and Domino’s, and given a choice, I would select this one! Drink: Sweet Iced Tea has a nice balanced flavor – not too sweet! Cost for a large drink is $ 1.95 and pitchers are available for $ 4.30. Service: Order at the counter, pay, and they call your name. It takes about 20 minutes for the pizza. The Service personnel are courteous and efficient. Ambiance: It’s a fairly large place(similar to a Pizza Hut in size), with many tables and booths. All tables were clean and an employee was constantly clearing tables, filling napkin holders, etc. Summary: Good food, good service, clean dining area, and good prices means 5 Stars from me! Highly recommended!

I love Dion’s. We are here for a few days and had to get our Dion’s fix ;) We ordered a large pepperoni and green chili pizza and a family sized salad with ranch dressing. The pizza was huge. We had plenty of food to go around for the four of us — as well as leftovers. The food is always amazing and well priced. For $ 28 we feed the four of us and will have enough for dinner. Come check it out!

Finally tried Dion’s after hearing so many good things. I’ll keep this brief because they really do deliver what they’re reputation boasts. You can order by the slice or larger, whole pizzas. They definitely know how to make great pie(tastes like pizza from a pizza parlor, not a chain restaurant… Even though they are one!) and their prices are right. The staff seem to mostly be young people in high school or just-out-of, but are usually nicer than could be expected. It’s nice that they’re based in ABQ of course, making it more appealing than going to Domino’s or Pizza Hut, or whatever. Since Pizza Barn in Edgewood is now a little too far away, this is our new go to spot. We’ll be back :)

No Gluten Free crust. I figured it out. Dions has said they can’t make a gluten free crust, because of all the flour getting tossed around. Dions has a main office and test kitchen. A gluten free crust can be made away from store, refrigerated and brought into stores with a plastic seal. They would only be opened when ordered. Toppings would be put on, then baked in a special part of oven. Please make it happen. Thank you. Bike Chaplain

Attractive location with decent prices for pizza, subs and salads. Stays open until 11 for those days you need to have a late dinner but still want to be healthy. Friendly staff. I like it. Go to Dion’s.

Had for the first time yesterday. Was fabulous! Very fast and friendly. We did a call in order, I really liked that they have a drive through pick up window. The sauce and crust is awesome. A number of pizzerias have flavorless crusts that are good, but this has good flavor is awesome! I also had the Santorini which was amazing!!! Looks like what others have pictured!

An Albuquerque staple. I have been going to Dion’s before I can remember. If you grew up in ABQ like I did, you may have even gone there on a field trip, watched how they made pizza from that wooden platform that has the bar to keep adults out and pressed your hands against that plexiglass in amazement, and even got a T-shirt(I see those [eye] [heart] Dion’s ones every now and then at thrift stores) This pizza is the tops. It is not one that I would classify as Chicago– or New York-style. It is truly New Mexican. It’s perfect groups because you can share a big pizza or you can every-man-for-themselves it and choose between any combination of pizzas, subs, or salads. One of the great things about Dion’s is you can order online ahead of time(or even while stuck in traffic) and they can have it great for you to dine-in or pick up at a specific time. It’s great to order from work and pick it up on the way home — even if the smell of fresh pizza makes the ride seem so much longer.

They still can’t manage to consistently get Internet orders right. Apparently greasy, scrawled, hand-written tickets are easier for the employees to read. Food remains good for the most part, but the consistent failure to get an order right when it is clearly printed in black and white on the ticket is annoying.

Most constant pizza in Albuquerque! How can anyone not like Dions food. Subs good, salad good, pizza great!, ranch dressing awesome! Sometimes it takes longer… why you say… because there busy! Can’t leave a bad review because it took longer. Pizza takes time to cook. Had to leave a great review because I was disappointed in the bad reviews. The people who left bad reviews shouldn’t…why because they will still go back at some point.

Love the food but the peaks times for lunch or dinner can be frustrating to wait in line. Also the noise level can get loud and difficult to heard your named called when order is ready. I mostly just order take out and use the drive up. It is usually a much quicker stop. The parking lot fills up quickly at lunch so street parking because a must. While this is not the best pizza or sub place in ABQ it is a good meal at a decent price. My favs: 1) chef salad 2) margarita pizza Tip: All subs are served with side of Greek dressing. The typical ABQ thing is to dip your chips in it or smother your sub :-)

Dions is New Mexico’s local pizza place. They make excellent pizza, subs and salads. I highly recommend the«Duke City» specialty pizza with green chile, turkey and cheddar cheese mmmm. I’d eat Dions a lot more often if they delivered :( Ranch dressing is amazing

Love Dion’s! Growing up with Dion’s and living away from NM, you learn to appreciate what you’ve got. As a child I used to watch the pizza makers from the little kids area they provide and now my kids do the same. I love how you can walk into Dion’s order a slice of pizza or whatever your heart desires and it’s usually ready within 15 – 20 minutes. The atmosphere is classic. My family always goes for a pizza — usually the Dion’s special and we love the Chef salad with a side of cheese toast and a pitcher of Cherry Coke. This time I ventured in solo and tried the meatball sub, which I’ve been eyeing for a while and it was amazing. None of that subway crap here, you should definitely try this at least once! Every Dion’s I’ve been to in town, has a surprisingly young staff — that said, they are on top of their game and have probably some of the BEST customer service I have ever received, so props to the training staff. You can’t go wrong here… a slice, a whole pie, a sub or a salad.
