Been twice since the switch to new management — the first wasn’t a good experience, grumpy staff and rude patrons(which I know the bar has no control over, and people are going to be rude no matter where you go) made us leave very early into the evening. This past time we went on a Saturday night around 11pm since its the only place to do karaōke during the weekend and weren’t thrilled about the experience. The karaōke DJ had the music turned down so quiet we couldn’t even carry on a conversation without talking over it! By midnight there were less than 10 patrons in the bar! On a Saturday! Wish it would go back to the way it was before they switched it over to Z’s pub.

Ed’s Pub, and I believe, Leisure Bowl are under new management. Ed’s Pub is as fun as ever for a night of karaōke. Don’t think about the quality of the food or the drinks. You’re there to enjoy the off-key singing and the rare stellar vocalists. Seems like a lot of the music is still the same, but there have been some changes to what versions are offered. Some for the better, but not all. Still they have such a huge selection of music, and I tend toward Broadway, that I can still find what I’m looking for. And try a different genre, too. It’s worth it. Go have fun and sing your heart out.
