My kids and I come here pretty often because it’s very convenient. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. This location has roughly the same menu as all the other locations and I like that I can walk into any of the Albuquerque locations and order my favorite bagel and orange juice. However, I believe they are all franchises and seem to be managed in much different ways. I’m giving this location 2 stars because of inconsistency and today’s experience was extra disappointing. Today, my daughter and I came in on the way to school and ordered our usual, a six cheese bagel, an everything bagel, orange juice and a chocolate milk. The first issue wad that my bagel was not sliced, more like torn and about half of the top was still attached to the bottom and it was toasted that way. Both bagels were burned and while one bagel had almost no cream cheese, the mutilated bagel had an enormous dollop placed close to the center, no spreading involved as the outer edges were untouched. It may be worth it to drive to a different location.

I’ve always enjoyed Einstein’s but continue to be disappointed with those location. This morning my husband and I went in and got our usual bagels. We asked for them toasted and when we got them they weren’t toasted or even slightly warm. We went to counter and notified the team member that we had asked for our bagels to be toasted. At first he just stared blankly as though wanting bagels toasted was a bizarre practice so I explained that they aren’t even warm. He then offered to put them in some turbo thing(a microwave or convection oven, maybe?) but microwaved cream cheese sounded weird so I declined and then he said«well they are toasted. They’re just done on a light setting.» I could see I was in a losing battle at this point so I returned to my table to eat my cold breakfast. This had an easy fix, Einstein’s. You could have offered to prepare our food the way we requested it and paid for. As I said, I typically enjoy the food there but choose to skip paying $ 7 for cold bagels and bad customer service in the future and won’t be returning.

They must have a broken toaster because this was what the employee insisted was toasted this morning. Very unhelpful staff and even though there weren’t many customers and at least three employees, the dining area was dirty.

Ya know what? Einsteins has never impressed me. My fave thing is a green chile bagel but theirs is always soggy… it’s like they can’t get their moisture content right. All of their cream cheeses are kinda yucky except the plain. Good coffee… but that’s really about all that I can say for them that’s positive.

I love Einsteins’ bagels, always have! The everything bagel, toasted with plain shmear is my ultimate favorite, but there are so many winners including, but not limited to, cinnamon sugar and green chile cheese! Can’t go wrong with the bagels here. I’m so very pumped that there is a new place to grab breakfast or coffee in my neighborhood! Coffee and other hot drinks are delicious — always reliable. There are also a variety of other breakfast items to choose from if bagels n shmear are not your thing — yogurt, fruit, hot sandwiches. Highly recommend.
