horrible return policy. bought a ps2 game last weekend, didn’t have time to play it until today and guess what? POS doesn’t work. checked my library of games, they work fine. called up the fine folks at gamers anonymous to ask about exchanging it FORTHESAMEDAMNTITLE and the kid who answers the phone was adamant that I needed the receipt. Really? For an exact exchange of the same $ 2.00 game??? I spent over $ 50 in their store. Needless to say I won’t be back and will tell every gamer I know to keep going to gamestop or noble. this place sucks

I’ve since moved out of state but I love this store! I went to one of the conventions and went to their booth. The guy at the booth was very friendly and helpful and eager to explain some of the cool handheld versions of Genesis or Super Nintendos they had. I found Final Fantasy 7, which I’d always wanted to own and was going to buy it, but found out I needed an original PS1 memory card to play it. They werent selling any so I was going to put the game back. BUT the guy at the booth told me to wait there and he DROVEBACKTOTHESTORE and picked up a memory card for me. Thats what I call above and beyond service! As well as always being welcoming and knowledgeable at their locations! Definately a place I’ll stop by when I visit home!

My first experience with this store was a couple of years ago and if I had known about Unilocal then, this review would have been written after my first experience. I walked into the GA in the Cottonwood area for a totally unrelated matter. The folks I was helping with a short film were using GA’s space or something, so I had a lot of time to look around before things got started. They had quite the extensive collection of games and even ones I hadn’t seen since I was a wee lass. I instantly felt myself shrink back to my younger years and stare at everything wide-eyed. I was so enamoured, I forgot what I was even doing there and almost missed my meeting haha. After the meeting, I went back out and started looking around again. What happened next was what really tipped this whole thing over the edge. Something magical catches my eye. It is Cheerwine, for any of you who are unfamiliar it is a delicious cherry soda that is not available everywhere. The only soda I’d buy by the case. I ask how much from one of the counter guys and the dude says take a couple! I was taken by this comment and thought he was a mirage, but this dude noticed my facial expressions when I looked around. He realized I was a first timer and welcomed me to the store. Very knowledgable guy in all that is video game land by the way. I talked shop with the guy over some delicious Cheerwine and he gave me a run down of what the store has to offer. Moving forward, the level of customer service in this place was outstanding. Since then, I only come to GA for my retro gaming needs. Where else would I find a great copy of AAAAH! Zombies Ate My Neighbors? :)

This store is amazing! I hope it’s around for a long time! GameCube is my favorite console, and to be able to relive the experience via a locally owned business is great! Plus, playing videogames with friends at the westside location is the bees knees!

This review is based off of my experience with a recent order. I inquired about a particular game that they had in stock that I needed shipped. They told me the price, asked for my shipping address and then never responded when I asked them what their preferred method of payment was. Really disappointed in their business interactions.

This place is pretty good if you’re looking to buy used games, but if you’re trying to make some extra cash off of your games, DON’T COMEHERE! I’ve been here a few times trying to make some extra cash and they don’t take anything!!! So, for everybody that likes a good deal on selling they’re things, this isn’t the place.

Best video game store ever. Wish we had it in Oregon. Great selection, great customer service, and free Steet Fighter 2 arcade!!!

Love love LOVE this place. They usually have some 360/PS3 games but they always have tons and tons of retro stuff. The staff are always nice and knowledgeable. I always hit them up when I’m in the neighborhood.

Have the best selection of used games. Prices are taken directly from the average cost on Ebay and Amazon so you know you’re not getting ripped off. They have tournaments there as well as local events with prizes. Moving to NYC was not as cool because Gamers Anonymous is a very unique and outstanding business that will forever have my business.

If taking a trip down video game memory lane is something you’d like to do, be sure to check this out! I was surprised at the wide variety of video game systems offered Sega CD anyone?
