I have been here on a few occasions, never bought anything. I don’t recall ever feeling like the staff was friendly or helpful. During the recent Nob Hill Shop and Stroll my husband and I were in the store and found a piece of jewelry we were interested in buying, but it needed to be taken out of the case it was in. We waited in line at the counter, there wasn’t anyone out on the floor assisting people, and when it was our turn to be helped the lady basically ignored us. The store was busy, but not nearly as busy as I’ve seen it in the past. We walked up to the counter, it took her at least a minute to even acknowledge us, at which point she half apologized for her inability to help us at the moment because she was shuffling through receipts — She said she was fixing a boo boo. We continued to wait patiently until she was done. A few minutes later another customer walked up and squeezed her way up to the counter and put her stuff down… There was only one register, and we clearly weren’t done. The woman who had been shuffling receipts then asked if the other employee needed to check out this lady who had walked up. So we were kinda pushed to the side, and this lady continued to fumble with the boo boo receipts. Another employee walked over, looked right past us, and asked the woman behind us if the couple to our left was there before her, she then proceeded to help this other couple. At which point I looked at my husband, asked if we should just leave, still no one acknowledged us so we walked out.
Moral of this story, we will never give them our business and never recommend them to anyone else.
