Delicious pizza, quick service and amazing employees! Everyone was so nice, friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit great. We would definitely come back.

I haven’t eaten Godfathers since I was young kid. It was just as good as before. The staff were nice and the restaurant was clean and nice. Again thanks for letting me have a good memory once again.

Like many others, I visited here with many fond memories of great pizza, in the 1990s, in Albuquerque, at the Menaul Godfather’s pizza. That was easily the best pizza in New Mexico until that restaurant went out of business. I admit, I had super high expectations. I visited on March 2, 2016, at 1 p.m. with some co-workers. We deliberately drove to the 98th Street location, since the reviews were higher than the Eubank location. We were the only ones there and the cashier was very friendly and took our order immediately. We got the Meat Combo Specialty Pie. My friend wanted the thin crust, and I grudgingly consented. Big mistake! The pizza was delivered reasonably quickly and piping hot. The sauce, cheese and toppings were high quality and in great abundance. They don’t skimp on toppings. The thin crust was crispy, but not satisfying with all those toppings. It was too cracker-like. The pan crust would have put the pizza at 5 stars. This location has those new soda machines with like 100 different sodas. If you like soda with your pizza you will be in Heaven. Looking forward to going again and trying the pan crust.

I’ve only been here once but I thought it was pretty good. Maybe a little too salty for my taste but by no means was it bad. Good food and good service. I just picked up a pizza though so I can’t vouch that their in store service is good but if you just go pick up a pizza you should be pretty happy. I have no real complaints.

Godfathers is a classic pizza from days past. They have kept the taste and flavor as original since I remember it as s youth eating it when it was on candelaria by VHS. Great job bringing it back and love all the additional options they provide. Thanks for delivery service as well!’

I don’t know what all the hype is. The only thing I liked was the stuffed crust. Maybe I’m used to better pizza from other states but this was okay not the best though

The absolute WORST pizza ever. Service was terrible. Waited 2HOURS for a Luke warm, rubbery cheese and hard crust pizza. Manager couldn’t give less than 2 *cares* about helping us out.

I used to eat at godfather’s pizza when I was a kid. They disappeared from new Mexico for several years. Now they are back and just as good as always. One of my favorite tasting crusts and you need to get the monkey bread for dessert.

They got our custom made pie out in only a few minutes making this restaurant a great choice for lunch hour. They also have one of those million flavor soda machines with endless possibilities. This place is a decent alternative to the quick burger for lunch.

Not only is the pizza great, the customer service is awesome. We ordered a pizza and a calzone the other night. The calzone didn’t arrive and the delivery guy didn’t know what happened but was very apologetic about it. I told him I would call and figure it out… It obviously wasn’t his fault. When I spoke with the store, I was told that the calzone was discontinued and that the website shouldn’t have let me order it. Without any hesitation, she had the kitchen make the calzone and had it delivered in 20 minutes. Customer service is a dying art form… Nice to see it hanging on.

I had been dying to try this place for some time… Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. We ordered the meat lovers with green chile. YUMMY! The taste was great and they weren’t shy on the toppings(honestly they shouldn’t be because of the price), but wow it was pretty good! We also ordered two salads and those were good too(just the basic lettuce, croûton, tomato, and cheese). I am very satisfied with the food quality and I can’t wait to return and try a new pie!

This was EXACTLY like I remembered from the 80’s pizza place on Menaul. Back then we had very distinctive pizza places like Nunzios, Dions, Godfathers. All three had very different tastes that you could identify with your eyes closed. Godfathers disappeared and has returned with the same delicous and robust flavors unlike any other. It was a trip down tasty memory lane and I cant wait to go again!

It was just«OK». The crust of the pie was very good and the toppings were high quality and abundant. The problem was the pie was pretty dry — there just wasn’t enough sauce. The large Classic was almost $ 30 though which just made this pizza very non-competitive with several of the better pizza joints in town. We also had a salad which was adequate, but once again it was just too pricey for what was there. With so many good pizza places in town I don’t see how this place will compete.

For anybody 45 or older. This is not the Godfather’s pizza you remember and liked as a child. Not even close.

The last time we ate at a Godfather’s Pizza was when we were stationed at Fort Sill, OK in 1983. We were on vacation in Albuquerque and found it on a Google search so we wanted to see if it was still the same great pizza. We found that it was. We had a medium combination pizza and breadsticks. Soda came from one of those new Coca-Cola machines that dispenses many flavor combinations. Great pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings! The people working there seemed to be very enthusiastic about their work. If we have time, we hope to go back there again.

What a find! I stumbled across this place while I was out looking for houses. I hadn’t had Godfather’s Pizza in years, and it was *almost* exactly how I remembered it. The food was phenomenal as always. The part that wasn’t like the Godfather’s Pizza of the past was the restaurant itself. It was bright and clean! I’m used to seeing these places be dingy and dim. There was no buffet like some used to have, but they do sell pizza by the slice. Also, there wasn’t a corner of half broken arcade games for me to waste my money. The service here was friendly. Staff are very attentive. The ordering process seemed a bit slow, and the wait time was average for a made to order pizza place, maybe 15 minutes or so for an order. If you’re in the area or driving by, try this place out. It’s nice and it still feels new!

I used to enjoy Godfathers Pizza years ago, from the early 1980’s through the early 2000’s, both in California and in New Mexico. I recently found out that thete was a newer Godfathers here in Albuquerque again after a long stretch of none. I walked in and it wasclean and nice. The girl behind the counter was nice enought too. I ordered the 2 slices a drink and salad. The salad was not good! They gave me ranch dressing that had obviously been sitting out for a while. The pizza was a loooong way from the Godfathers pizza I used to go to years ago in bothe CA and NM! The pizza crust used to have a great pan quality to it qith that carmelized crust! Now it looks and tasts like just about any other pizza was disappointing! Too bad, I most likely would have been a regular customer if not for this

So we were SO excited to try Godfathers when we were visiting family in Abq. Got to say we were not disappointed! Their pizza is great. The inside looks pretty nice. And got to love their online coupons. A flaw is of course the price. Also, wish they would have put it in a nicer part of town, the location is so weird. Overall loved it & will eat here again. Try a pepperoni, green chili, pineapple pizza! Yum :)
