Going to a new doctor is always a scary thing. You have no idea if you’ll like them, if they will listen to you, and if your time(and money) will be well spent. I’ve been looking for a new gyno for a while. I have had several appointments for new patient visitd at places all over town– and each of them was cancelled by the doctor, a day or two before the appointment. While I understand that things happen, this is a trend I’m not a fan of, and I chose not to reschedule. Dr Gordon’s office staff was quite easy to deal with when I made my appointment. They were able to help me figure out how much time I needed to miss from work for my appointment, and what to expect from my first appointment. I received a call from the office the day before my appointment confirming it, and reminding me to bring my insurance card and photo ID. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was checked in quickly and given my new patient paperwork to fill out. It was 3 quick pages(awesome, some places expect a book!), and then I was called to the back into an exam room. The nurse took my vitals, went over all of my info, and took me around the corner into the doctor’s office. He was waiting for me, and we had a nice chat about what I was in for, my history, and what I expect of him. We moved back to the exam room, finished up, and I was out of there in exactly an hiur– just as the front desk staff said I would be when I made my appointment. I’m a fan. This guy’s doing things WAY better than most other docs around town!
