These kolaches are really good. About 20 varieties priced between 2 – 3 dollars. The bread around them is delicious not wonder bready. Best latte in town

My biggest complaint about some fruit pastries is not enough fruit. This is not an issue at Kolache Factory. The tender, buttery cookies are melt-in-your mouth good, with plenty of fruit! The soft, chewy dough that they make is incredible. I have only gotten the dessert Kolaches-so must try savory. They have a huge assortment.

My husband and I tried this place after Thanksgiving. I remember seeing it in the Albuquerque Journal and is always up for trying something new. I have a one year old toddler so this was very convenient for a quick no fuss breakfast/lunch. Bread stuffed with different variety of flavors. We tried Philly Cheese Steak, Sausage and Gravy, Chicken Enchilada, BBQ Beef, and Italian Chicken. My favorite is Chicken Enchilada. For $ 2 and some change, I was surprised at the amount of meat that was inside. It was quite filling. It only took two for me to be full. I wouldn’t say that all of their flavors are out of this world, but when you just need something quick and good, this isn’t bad place to stop by. Especially, if you don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant while your toddler is screaming. It’s definitely not a hanging out environment. We went twice and both times, it didn’t seem like the environment was the type of place anyone wanted to sit for longer than 30 minutes. Yeah, they have coffee, but that part seemed more like an after thought. Anyways, I recommended this place to some friends and they have tried and enjoyed it as well. Definitely eating more of these than doughnuts.

Kolaches are a big deal in TX so we were excited to see this in NM. Made a big order at midnight and it was ready by 6:00am. The man helping us was extremely friendly and the Kolaches were delicious! :)

I love love love Kolaches! I grew up eating them in Texas and they were a staple in our house. The Kolache Factory brought back a little nostalgia to me and I enjoyed it. They have a little bit of everything here, fruit, sausage, egg, green chile. My favorite though is just the traditional sausage kolache, you can’t go wrong. This location is very close to my house, so that helps. The service was good, they were starting to get busy with several large orders by people who obviously had no clue what a kolache was so the manager stepped in and started taking orders. That is always a plus. My sausage kolache was awesome sauce and my husband enjoyed his as well. I took off a star because they forgot to put out the tea, so I had to wait a minute… we all know I love my morning iced tea.

I really want to give them 4 or 5 stars because their kolaches are delicious and unique but I can’t. They run out of food, close early and the flow of the order line is disorganized. The philly steak and breakfast kolaches are my favorites. I thought I would be a frequent customer but I just can’t do it. Restaurants should not run out of food. Buy more ingredients. Supply should meet demand.

The kolache here are pretty tasty– it basically is like a donut-bread with stuffing inside or jam on the top.

The kolaches were excellent. They had a huge variety. Everything from egg and bacon to barbecue and sweet ones. We got a dozen to go and heated them up in the microwave. We will definitely be back!

I tried to eat here for lunch on November 2. It was after 1:00 but they were still open. At least I think so. Nobody was at the counter. I waited for four minutes. No greeting, no I’ll be there in a minute… nothing. I could see someone washing the dishes in the back. I have no idea if she was the only employee or not. So, I walked out. I will not be back.

It’s a good concept, but we ordered the egg and sausage kolache and fruit filled kolache and both were served cold with no offer to warm them up. They may have been good warmed in an oven.

The food was very good and the workers were very nice and friendly. They did get my order wrong, but other than that — it was great!

Kolache is a neat food concept for a fun experience. The feel is very much like a doughnut shop, there are pre-made stuffed bread rolls called«Kolache,» with various flavors(the New Mexican has delicious carne asada and green chile) you can pick from. Some things to know the rolls are heated in a microwave which makes things chewy and the staff needs prompting for suggestions or answering questions. Also, they didn’t offer plates to eat the rolls, they recommend we used our bag as a plate. They have great coffee and nice addition to Albuquerque.

This is the first time I’ve eaten a kolache, but oh my gosh, it will NOT be the last! The restaurant is brand new, located in the same strip mall area as Mario’s on Paseo near Wyoming. It is in the small row of shops just up the small hill from Mario’s(facing Mario’s, Kolache Factory is to the right). They have sweet, fruit filled as well as many varieties of breakfast kolaches and many that are suitable for lunch. They also have 2 made with Hatch Green Chile and several with jalapenos and salsa. Hubby had the spicy polish and the sausage and gravy, both of which he loved. I had 2 pepperoni and mushroom. We both had plenty to eat and with a large and regular fountain drink, our total was around $ 14. The prices are reasonable, the staff well trained and on the ball, and the food excellent. There are so many varieties that we’ll certainly be back to try more. The restaurant is very comfortable, with some booths and more tables, bright with lots of windows and extremely clean. They have Katz coffees and iced tea as well as bottled sodas, fountain drinks, smoothies and fancy coffees. The kolaches are great to take home also and heat up for later. They offer to heat your selection if you are eating there and we took them up on that. They weren’t soggy at all, no matter what fillings we had and the kolaches were piping hot when they were served to us. Check them out, you won’t be sorry! They’re open from 6 am — 2 pm M-F and 7 am — 2 pm on weekends.
