Large Boyz Toyz painted my car about 4 years ago and did an outstanding job. They have had to fix a few dings and dents from other peoples mishaps but the paint is always a match. I have people comment often on how new my 2004 truck looks. The shop is very clean and organized. The owner Gene is very knowledgeable about the paint and body industry and always willing to explain to you what the process is to fix your vehicle. He is truly very professional and will make you feel comfortable about the work to be performed. There are always projects in the works that will make your jaw drop in awe. The paint looks like glass. You can look at his advertisement on Craigslist under Services/​Automotive to see the vast array of cars, motorcycles and miscellaneous items that have been painted or are still projects in the shop. If you are looking for an excellent paint job from a well experienced painter than this is the shop I would highly recommend.

This is a small run-​down looking body shop located on a rather dingy street in an industrial area in Albuquerque’s North Valley.
The owner seems to be in and out and he has no regular hours. It’s pretty much a one man operation.
I went here for an estimate for some minor body work on my car and I was quoted a price. He said he could start right away. I left my car for 3 days and rented a car up the street. When I went to pick up my car the original price had doubled for the job. I complained and he knocked off $ 50. My car seemed to be okay and fixed and I took it although it was outside in the rain. When I got home I noticed drips and sags in the paint job. I called him and he agreed to work on it some more although it took a while to arrange it and he was not nearly so eager.
He fixed it better but still not like it should be — especially for the price I was charged. There are still some paint sags and rough edges where two body panels come together.
I called him back and he cussed me out and used the F-​word and said I was expecting more than I paid for. He said to bring it back again and to call him. I called several times and got no response. He just ignores me.
Poor service — poor repairs — unresponsive — rude — I would avoid this place at all costs.
