As I write this my laundry is currently stuck inside one of their machines. It’s spinning indefinitely and there is no one on site or off site to fix the problem. That is not all — the same thing happened with another machine I first tried. I would have taken my laundry elsewhere right then, but it was waterlogged and too heavy to move. Now I have no idea if/when I’ll get my laundry back. I called the owner and only got voice mail. Don’t take your laundry here. The owner is absent and the machines are not maintained.

I hate laundromats. They are uncomfortable, usually dirty and I am always kind of afraid that I’m going to be mugged or raped when I’m using one. I make my trips as quick as possible and I’m rarely trusting enough to leave my clothes unattended. From the outside, this place looks pretty ratty. To be honest, it doesn’t look much better from the inside. However, the machines are fairly modern and there are plenty of them. There are very few places to sit down inside while you wait and what is there looks kind of filthy. I’m not about to bring bed bugs home so I chose to stand and read while I waited. Luckily the washing machines and dryers are pretty quick and do a decent job. There is a change machine inside and vending machines with reasonably priced pop and snacks if you need them. I can’t comment on the value of the laundry-by-the-pound wash and fold service because I didn’t use it but overall these facilities aren’t too bad if you don’t have the convenience of laundry in your own home. I’ll be happy when I’m back home and can do my laundry without fears of a run-in with a gang-banger but until then, this place will suffice.

I took my laundry here for wash and fold. When I picked my clothes up almost half of them were missing. After 2 days the owner finally called me and suggested that I misplaced my clothes and offered to refund the cost of the the wash and fold.
