We had sworn we would never return here a couple of years ago but decided to give it one more try today. Mistake. Terrible. Grimy tables and seats. Hostess touched our forks(the end you eat with) when she handed them to us. Then the food! Everything looked old and dried up. When it didn’t look old you couldn’t be sure what it was. We tried to eat it but after a few bites were so grossed out we left. $ 30 down the drain, hope we don’t get sick!

We went at 3 pm food was fresh and pleasing. For the money they need to invest in the looks. The booths with chairs are unlevel looking up at my husband wasn’t cool. Needs an update. The constant broom banging while your eating is annoying. The fountain was off the main attraction.

Over priced for wat little they had. We paid over 60.00 for four adults. All the food pans we’re empty the first & second time we went up. I don’t eat the sushi, but my other family members do. They said the sushi wasn’t good. My brisket was so tough I couldn’t eat it. I could even eat my crab rangoons because if I had they would’ve broken my teeth. Bathroom was nasty, no locks on stall doors. Other than that the staff was very friendly. Oh & my brother said their tea was good, so one gold star. I’ll eat elsewhere from now on.

It’s fine. I like the variety but there’s nothing in particular that stands out as exceptional. But it’s all quite ok and worth going to have. The fruit is all bad, some is flavorless, others taste so foul from the overuse if preservative, like your peaches are soaked in soda water or something. Avoid. But still, sushi, grill, and buffet is a good combo.

I love Lin’s! Me and the wifey go at least once a week. My girl goes for the crab legs and I go for the Mongolian style grill. I really like when Daniel is on the grill and he’s usually there 5 – 6 days a week. You’re looking at $ 30.77 for 2 dinners and 2 drinks on the weekend. The gentlemen who seats you is awesome and very approachable. Great food, great service at great price is what keeps me coming back. This is a must-try in Albuquerque.

What a disappointing buffet. Too pricey. The crab legs and crawfish was not worth it to pay«seafood buffet» price. I wish I turned around and not paid but the kids were hungry. Never going back, not recommending to anyone.

Lin’s buffet is awesome! I mean, amazing Chinese food(including the full array of entress, appetizers, and soups) as well as sushi and Mongolian grill all for decent prices. I always go for Lunch which is only about $ 9 dollars! I seriously love their food. Even the sushi always tastes fresh, which is hard to say for most buffets. The service is friendly and the restaurant pretty clean. The bathrooms are practically luxurious for a Chinese buffet, too. There are also lots of desserts as well as ice cream to top off your meal. We go back as often as we can. Gotta love Lin’s!

I only went because they had snow crab. Too bad it was never hot when I served myself. Even if it was a fresh batch. The food here is decent but they have always had a hard time keeping things fresh on the line. The selection of entrée food is good, the salad line could use many additions and the desserts are varied. Its nice they have a Mongolian style bar as well, I didn’t try it though. The service was very good… attentive and friendly.

Friendly people and service was great. But food was dry and tough. Look like it was sitting out all day.

Décor is nice food availabilty and quality subject to planetary alignment. Went with group of 6. staff had trouble figuring out the drinks and staying on top of refills. Many of the serving trays were empty for the entire time we were at the restaurant even though we contacted staff. Staff was pretty good about staying on top removing empty dishes from the table. Food quality is what you expect of buffet style. Not a spectacular flavor but not bad. A made to order area is available where you can have fresh made lo mein noodles and shrimp chicken steak etc. This is a nice touch in a buffet. Overall facilities were clean May go back if the kids have a desire to.

The place was clean and the service was fine. The food was forgettable. The hot n sour soup was watery. The jalapeños in the jalapeño chicken were so hot, they almost melted my face off. The broccoli in the beef and broccoli was limp and mushy. Stereotypical Chinese buffet: nice décor, good service and mediocre food.

Meh. As many underwhelming non-Chinese options as there are underwhelming Chinese options. The meal was disappointing, and even my teenage son who prefers everything processed described it as «okay.» Even for a typical US cheap Chinese buffet this was disappointing.

So, here we are, my good friend & I, Christmas Day driving all over Alb looking for ANYthing open to eat after a day of hiking & sledding the Sandias… Nada, then we see Taco Cabana & think«Eh, why not?» …Wait! But then to what do my wonderous eyes should appear? The OPEN sign on Lin’s Grand Buffet! YES!!! So, not only were they open with a fair amount of patrons, but the staff was very, very friendly and attentive! Very cool folks, laughing & joking with us, really rather rare considering they were after all working on a major holiday! The selection was outstanding, fresh, varied & delicious! I will be making another trip when my mother is in town, she loves seafood & other than Las Vegas, NV~ I’ve yet to see such a great buffet style such as Lin’s!

Food is pretty good. $ 7.99 for lunch buffet not including drink, a drink will be an additional $ 1.89. A bit pricier than most buffets of this type. They have the usual fare including sushi & a tepan grill

I don’t want to rate this place as a 1-star because of my incident… but I hope they read these reviews and modify their«practices.» We decided to eat at Lin’s last week, we’ve only been here one time before and the service was good, food was fresh but standard and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just blah. Furniture and décor is outdated and you can tell that whatever this was before… it’s changed hands a few times and everything was included. We had gone to our table, drink orders taken and returned very quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the whole time(wasn’t too long). After looking at our receipt, we realize we were overcharged. My husband went to the register and the girl told him that we told her that many and that’s why she charged that amount… he corrected her and told her exactly what was said, and she disagreed. She eventually refunded him the money, but was rude doing so. Strike 1. After we got our drinks, we headed up to the buffet. My kids got what they wanted, husband got what he wanted and as I was perusing the buffet and about to get a spoonful of shrimp w/vegetables… I noticed that the shrimp that was on my spoonful had a roach stuck to it with the sauce. Strike 2. I left the spoon as is, and waited for the buffet attendant to come back out of the kitchen. He was constantly refreshing dishes and was very attentive to the buffet and it’s appearance, I expected the same with my discovery. I pulled him aside, told him about the bug(I didn’t want to make a scene) and he in turn went to look at the spoon, instead of looking, he turned the spoon over and mixed what was on it back in to the pan. I stopped him and showed him the shrimp and he was surprised. I told him that he might want to replace that whole batch. He took the spoon back and that was it. The pan itself never got removed. Strike 3. I let my kids finish their fried rice that I served them and we left. Unfortunately, we will not be back to this place.

I’m giving 3 stars in a Chinese Buffet relative sense. I love trashy buffets even when they’re bad. Last summer, the old Lin’s was excellent — trashy and great at the same time. After leaving for 9 months and returning this summer, however, I’m sad to say that they’ve dropped from a 4 to a 3 in buffet relative Unilocal points. Some examples: Sushi rice was hard and there were very few raw fish options. Brisket seemed less tender and less flavorful. Salmon was tougher, less appealing. Those were my staples. That said, the 50% off Groupon is a bargain for(indiscriminate) connoisseurs of Chinese buffets like me.

Their food is usually pretty good but their prices are slightly high for a buffet tho, about $ 25.00 for two people. Regardless, I would certainly recommend this buffet to anyone. It’s quality, always fresh Chinese, Japanese and American food and an abundance of it. Their sushi isn’t that bad either. It works in a pinch anyway. There’s also a great Mongolian Grill there. The only con to this restaurant to us would be who we dubbed, «The Miso Monster.» He,(we think he’s the owner) usually guards the front desk with absolute intensity and typically seats you with a super stern expression on his face. He also usually postures as though he’s in partial rigor.(?) Anyway here’s the kicker, even though he’s JUST watched you pay for your meals, he’ll scour your receipt as though you’re quite possibly some kind of a Mongolian felon. He also makes DAMNGOODANDCERTAIN you’ve paid for EVERYTHING you’re about to shove down your gullet. Including any drinks. He’ll also watch you as you leave just in case you’ve made off with any Crab Rangoon in your sweatpants. Thankfully he stops just before performing any exit pat downs. In closing, The Miso Monster never smiles but when(or if) he ever does, chances are you’ll find it as disturbing as we do. It’s also fantastic for large or massive groups! Happy eats!

Fancy place, isn’t it? Fancier than any Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to. You enter, and there’s a really cool fountain facing you, and a very pretty chandelier. I went there close to 4:00, and I got the lunch price. Not bad. They have an aisle of Chinese food, but along with that, is Americanized food, and I like, other reviewers don’t care for French fries on my Chinese buffet. I was starving, and the food was quite good. What stuck out in my mind were the green beans, just a bit of red pepper flakes on them. Also, I liked the sesame chicken. I had kind of wanted to be mostly vegetarian while in Albuquerque, but that kind went flat. The mushrooms here are not canned, I was looking for that, cause I’ve seen places here in Alb use canned mushrooms, and well… I can do the same. The broccoli was very good. The Mongolian barbecue takes up an entire wall, the line was long with a large family, and I didn’t get to try it. I didn’t try the desserts, but it was just okay looking. I’ll probably be back while I’m here. Pretty good food for the money.
